Encircled started with one word: YOKES. It may or may not have been excitedly half-shouted out to a meeting full of easily startled people. We were already excited about the possibilities, the response from our designers was wonderful, and we're thrilled to finally be able to offer every one of these magical designs. |

Y'all, Knits for Everybody Two! is here and it is excellent. Basic sweaters, hats and mittens that fit a huge range of sizes (think teeny babies to big fellas) with beginner-friendly silhouettes. Not only is the collection solid, but each pattern was photographed on the lovely people who work here! Read on for some cute behind-the-scenes shots and outtakes from our new favorite collection. |

Growing up, my beloved grandmother always knit or crocheted at least two afghans for her grandkids. One was given to us right after we were born (mine was a Raggedy Ann & Andy blanket), the other was given when we were 18 and was a series of squares, some plain, some with our favorite colors, some with pictures of things we loved (cats and books features heavily on mine - not much has changed). With that in mind, we have put together a collection with a similar theme - the Milestones and Memories collection. |

You're a new knitter and you decide you want to make a hat. Maybe you've heard of Ravelry, so you search for "hat" and find a mere. . .65,033 results. That's not overwhelming at all. The whole idea behind the Knits for Everybody series is to give people patterns for just that problem. The patterns are meant to be the simplest, most basic version of the simplest, most basic garments, with sizes from newborn to men's XXL and instructions in both of the most common yarn weights, Worsted and Fingering. With Knits for Everybody Too, we've revisited the original concept to expand the selection. |

Shawls for All, our new mix-and-match shawl collection, has been something of a pet project for a few people around Knit Picks, and we really think that Joyce Fassbender, the brains behind the collection, has really given us something special. |

It’s been a while since Knit Picks to put out an advanced lace collection and we’re quite excited to present this year’s offering, Luxurious Lace. We decided on the name because of the stunningly sophisticated stitches, the deliciously indulgent yarn, and because our graphic designer refused to create a logo for our working title: OMG THESE ARE SO PRETTY. |
