After a long search, and many many bids my husband and I finally bought our very first house! Coincidentally the Knit Picks Tranquility home collection came out the same month we bought our first home. I was so excited because this collection has the perfect patterns to add a touch of style and comfort to our new home! These patterns would also make great house warming gifts if you know of anyone who recently bought a new home. Just be warned – you might want to keep them all for yourself! The newest member of our alliterative sock collections is the lovely Splendid Soles! Joining Artful Arches and Toasty Toes, Splendid Soles is gorgeous collection featuring classic cable, delicate lace and fun textures. As the resident Knit Picks Sock Knitter, I'm in love with this collection and awed by the creativity of the amazing designers included. My needles are itching for so many of these patterns and I'm feeling a case of startitis coming on. |

“If you wear things you adore, you just look better” – Margherita Missoni Revel in the details of Renew, our latest collection of simple + sweet spring sweaters and tops! Everywhere I look, daffodils are displaying themselves proudly against the backdrop of dark and stormy skies. Cherry blossoms adorn the path along the riverbank in downtown PDX, and the air smells sweetly of freshly opened buds. It’s Spring, and it is glorious! While I live for the coziness of a good ole chunky oversized sweater, there’s nothing quite like feeling the returning warmth of the sun directly on my skin. With the weight of winter behind us, we’re taking a cue from Mother Nature and shedding our figurative (and literal) layers and shifting towards brighter color palettes, lightweight tops, and comforting wear-anywhere wraps. |
