One of our most versatile designers, Tian Connaughton is responsible for some of our favorite patterns — both knit and crochet. We’ve happily worked with her for 8 years, and look forward to many more collaborations. Tian is all things crafty. She is a designer and technical editor working for major brands such as Knit Picks, Interweave, I Like Knitting, and I Like Crochet. She also spends time working with independent designers. She is the author of two books, Unlock Your Inner Designer: How to start designing and Pattern Launch Plan: Sell more patterns consistently without being sleazy. As a mom, or more importantly, as a human being in the modern world, I relish the opportunity to carve out a little time for myself to do whatever my heart and mind needs in the moment. Namely, slow down, stop obsessing over my never-ending to-do list, and just RELAX. We could all stand to take more gorgeous moments for ourselves to replenish and reflect, whether it be daydreaming about taking a luxurious cruise with the Fab 5 or just sipping some hot coffee on a quiet early morning while the rest of the house is still asleep. I’ll take whatever I can get. Bonus points if it includes plants, outdoor time, or Indian food. |

DK, worsted, and bulky weight Swish yarns are all 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool (plus there's a fingering weight version in Bare if you want to dye your own!). |

Our latest Special Reserve Collection, CotLin Reflections, is everything I love in yarn. Inspired by the iconic hues of Indigo dyeing traditions, the collection was designed to highlight the stunning contrasts between snowy white fiber, indigo blue, and all those lovely shades in between. And boy, does it! Reflections is downright gorgeous, and the fact that it’s a summery cotton and linen blend just makes it absolutely perfect in my book. |
