She particularly likes colorwork, cables, and in-the-round knitting, and she incorporates these techniques into her designs. When not knitting, she is a mom, a librarian, and a professor of Italian literature.

It seems like we had just gotten back from Vogue Knitting Live in New York and it was already time for Knit Picks to be off to our next destination: Santa Clara, California for Stitches West. The first of many Stitches shows for the KP crew, we came, we saw, we lost a pallet. All in all, it was a bustling and delightful time. Read more »Even with the first signs of spring on the horizon, many of us here are still clinging to our cozy wool sweaters (especially since there was just a bunch of snow last week!). For our free March calendar, we’re featuring our favorite shades of tweedy grey, greens & blues as a last hurrah of cuddly warm sweaters until the fall.
In just a few short years, my husband and I will be celebrating our (gasp) 40th birthdays, and we plan on marking the occasion by taking the vacation of our dreams to Japan. Since I am a hardcore multitasker by nature, I plan on adding a few work-related stops to our itinerary.
