The Princess Pullover in the Heartwood pattern collection is hands down the most eye-catching garment in this collection of almost equally gorgeous knits. Read more »Hudson’s Bay stripes are an absolute classic, known as much for being hard-wearing as they are beautiful. This dishcloth celebrates the spirit of modern simplicity with stockinette stitch in four colors of “Dishie” yarn. Make this dishcloth as written, or extend the off-white color “swan” to a longer length, repeat the stripes, and make a lovely hand towel!

Participating in the 52 Weeks of Dishcloths has been an adventure. Trying new stitch patterns on a small scale fits with my crazy, busy life. I decided that a spa cloth, with a lacy pattern, would be fun to try using Dishie.
I am really proud of our newest seasonal collection, Burnished. Not only are there some gorgeous garments in there, it was the biggest collection I’ve worked on since joining Knit Picks. I thought I’d use this blog post as a way to give you a peek behind the scenes into what goes into the designing of a pattern book!
