News from the “Give One Away” Knit Along and about the Montavilla Tote

I have three pieces of news for you to cram into this one blog post, so stop and stretch first and take a deep cleansing breath. Ready? Here we go:

1. The winner of the final contest in the “Give One Away” Knit Along is “soonerknitter.” You can read her story about giving her tote to her Grandmother here .

Congratulations SoonerKnitter. She will receive our final organic basket that includes Knit Picks yarn and needles.

2. The Montavilla Tote Kits have sold out. They are all gone. That’s the bad news. The good news is, the pattern will be available in the “patterns” section of our website on August 15. It includes the yarn requirements, so you’ll be able to continue making the world a little greener one tote at a time.

3. And just a final little tidbit about the Tote. We polled you guys to ask what you would put in your reusable tote. 57% said “yarn,” 34% said “groceries.” “Roller skates,” “rock climbing gear” and “moon rocks” hardly got any votes at all!

That’s it. That officially wraps up our Montavilla Tote activities. We have several other kits coming out that will have that handy “Knit One Give One” badge so you know you are getting double the fun. <
