Just in time for the holidays – a Knitpicks.com Wishlist!

Our IT department has been working hard over the last few months rebuilding our shopping cart system to give our shoppers a better experience.

Note: If you are redirected to the homepage or a broken page after adding an item to your cart, please delete your Knitpicks cookies. This should resolve the problem. See our FAQ for more information.

  • For starters, we’re excited to introduce our first Wishlist. You can add products to your wishlist from any page, move items from your Cart to your Wishlist, and send your Wishlist to friends and family who might need more than a subtle hint when buying the right gift for you.
  • The best part? The wishlist you send to others will update whenever you make a change. Change your mind or want to change the quantity of a yarn? No problem, make the change and when your SO gets his/her email, they’ll see the updated version. Currently, you won’t know when an item has been purchased from the wishlist, so if you plan on sending your wishlist out to multiple people, be sure to let them know who else is gift shopping from it! Use the optional “Message” field to include notes to your wishlist recipient.
  • The former “Save for Later” section is now “Notify Me”. Any time an item is out of stock, just click the Notify Me button and we’ll send you an email letting you know when it is available.
  • You’ll find both of these on the same page as your Shopping Cart. Using “tabs” we’ve made it easy to flip back and forth between your Cart and Wishlist for when just can’t decide how much to buy. 🙂
  • You’ll also find a convenient “Login/Logout” link in the top-right corner of the page, above your Cart button. You’ll need to log-in to use the wishlist – so we can remember it next time you visit us.
  • Finally, we’ve made the Checkout process much smoother and quicker. Once you’re ready to place your order, you’ll enter all your information in one place and review your order before submission.
