I am continually amazed at the creativity of knitters! From the pattern designers that turn our fiber into amazing projects for us to knit, to the crafters who create beautiful items with those designs, my breath is taken away daily. Since Halloween is just around the corner, I've rounded up a handful of my favorite Halloween knitting projects featuring Knit Picks yarns. Halloween Knitting Projects: Little Monster Vest |

Our new Knits for Everybody collection couldn't have come at a better time! My sister is about to have a baby in November which means that I immediately threw out my old queue of knitting projects and cast on for every baby project I could think of. Now, it's been a long time since I've been around a baby and it's hard to remember how absolutely teeny tiny they are when they're brand new. Instead of winging it and just guesstimating the size of a newborn baby, I turned to Knits for Everybody to help me find just the right size! |

It's that time of year again, where many crafters start making their list of handmade gifts to make for the people we love. (Unless you are much more organized than us and started months ago!) To give you some ideas, we are offering one of our exclusive patterns for free for one week only for the next 12 weeks! |

Socks are my addiction. Throughout the year, I always have a pair on my needles, no matter the weather. They are perfect to travel with, usually only take one skein of yarn, and can be worked on even in the heat of the summer when having a sweater or blanket on your lap would be miserable. Our Hawthorne yarn lines are my favorite; in fact, I can't remember the last pair I knit that wasn't in Hawthorne and now we highlight this beautiful yarn in our new collection Toasty Toes! |

Embrace comfort knitting with the six tops in our new collection, Take it Easy! These patterns are perfect for weekend brunches, backyard gatherings, getting tea with a friend, or anytime you want a sophisticated look with minimal fuss. Touches of lace, cables, and delicate mesh keep the knitting interesting while shorter sleeves mean you'll be able to finish these garments in no time. In the spirit of "springier" weather, I thought I'd share three of my favorite patterns from our fabulous new collection! |

Spring is most definitely in the air! It's time to put away our sweaters and chunky scarves and bring out our lighter wardrobes. For all of us fiber lovers, that means it's time for a fun new spring yarn project! Or two... or three... Let's start with this fabulous Mesa Wrap, designed by Chelsea Berkompas. It's a light and airy summer wrap with sections of mesh lace and a distinct striping pattern shaped by simple short rows. Knit in Lindy Chain, this wrap has a wonderful drape and sheen. |
