Freebie Friday 2011

So I hope you have been enjoying our Freebie Friday patterns!  When we started it, we were just planning on running it through the holidays but since it’s been so popular, we thought we’d continue it on into 2012!

This week I thought I’d revisit some of the most popular Freebie Friday patterns – in case you missed one!

One of our favorites is Cassidy Clark’s Rubber Chicken!

The Last Minute Gift Freebie Friday

If you’re in a bind for a gift, nothing beats a couple of handknit washcloths with some nice soap!  I’ve given similar gifts to friends & family who have moved into a new house as well as for last minute Christmas gifts.  I always have some cotton laying around, since most washcloths take less than one skein of Dishie or Simply Cotton  If you’re in a pinch, the Knit Picks staff have several free patterns for you!

Jenny created this adorable Chomp Chomp washcloth:

Freebie Friday – a Holiday Earflap Hat

Well, we suddenly got very cold here in the Pacific Northwest this week (“very cold” is subjective, I realize. Suffice to say, we’ve been grabbing our warm wooly gear though!).  If you’re also in the middle of a chilly December, check out this adorable hat from April Fehrman.

This is the Holiday Earflap Hat! It’s perfect to keep a young friend’s head nice & toasty warm when they’re out in the chilly air especially with the double thick ear flaps!

Wintery Freebie Friday

So, for those of you in the US, did you go out shopping for Black Friday deals this morning? Or are you like me and spending your day lazing around, recovering from Thanksgiving?  I’m actually going to be working on holiday gifts – in fact, we have two free patterns by our own Melissa that are a lot of fun & perfect quick gifts to work on this weekend!

First we have a trio of Snowmen!
