We are expected to have our first snowfall of the season next week here in the Pacific Northwest. While this may not come as welcome news for some people in our neck of the woods, folks around the KP office are excited at the prospect of putting our most recent labors of love to work, keeping our heads toasty and warm during this potential snowpocalypse (we don’t get a lot of snow around here). In the spirit of bundling up, we’re sharing several of our latest FOs, all of the chapeau variety!

Check out this colorwork project from Jennifer, our Digital Marketing Director. Surprisingly, this is her first attempt at colorwork (ever!). Here’s what she had to say about this project: I wanted to dip my toes into the world of colorwork, and Spruce by Pam Allen seemed like a good fit. I wanted to play with the new Twill yarn… which may have bumped Swish from the top of my “favorite KP yarn” list!

Erica took a break from knitting countless versions of the Payne Hat and decided to knit up this cozy number for her husband. She didn’t use a pattern for this one, but she did use our limited-edition Stroll Tweed Tonal Special Reserve in colorway “Panther Tweed.”

Lee has been making lots of new hats for a new pattern she designed, including two in double-stranded Felici—one with the same colorway held double, and another with two different colorways held together, one in our new Muse Sock yarn held triple-stranded, and three made from the same two balls of Chroma Worsted—two with stripes, and the third holding them together for a bulky weight. Last, but certainly not least, Morgan made this simple yet SO so lovely Tyson Hat, a pattern by Robyn Devine, knit in the Alfie color of Simply Alpaca. All that’s missing is a giant mug of hot cocoa.
