KP Collections giveaway!

So, how do you like our lovely KP collections?

collections

It has been so exciting working on these – I spent 10 years working in a bookstore and I still have a great love of flipping through books. I personally think ours are just so beautiful – the designs, the photography, the layout – everything about them just makes me so proud to be a part of them.

It has been fun coming up with the ideas for new books and seeing all the wonderful projects we receive from the designers, as well as the fantastic ideas that Kerin comes up with for her own books.

So which is your favorite?

We want to know – and we have a great giveaway for you too!  Check out all of our collections here and tell us which one is your favorite (whether you own it or not).  On Monday September 30, I’ll choose one grand prize winner – who will win 5 titles of any of the KP Collections books (their choice!).  I’ll also choose 3 runners up, each of which who will one 1 copy of any of our KP Collections.  Good Luck all!

Rules: One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address. No purchase necessary. All comments must be posted on THIS blog post. Comments on other blog posts or on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Ravelry, etc.) will not be valid for this contest. We will close the comments at 7am PST September 30 and randomly select the winners then!

As a note, don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away – because of not-very-nice spammers that slip through our filters, we need to approve each comment.  So there might be delay, especially over the weekend – but don’t worry, we’ll get your entry!

Giveaway is now over – we’ll announce the winners soon!

I really love Capra and Reclaimed!

  20. Diane / September 29, 2013

Ballerinas In Pink would be at the top of the list if I have to have only one favorite. If you change that to which are your favorites, then First Light and Sunset Over the Cascades are both running a VERY close second.

  21. Bernadine Richey / September 29, 2013

Beautiful collections…so hard to pick a favorite! right now the first autumn breeze is finally here and I think I need a capra cardigan from the Capra collection!

  22. Linda Fristedt / September 29, 2013

I very much admire the First Light book and see several patterns that tempt me. Thank you for the opportunity to win books!

  23. rochelle / September 29, 2013

I agree too! I love the idea of opening a book and checking out patterns and creating the “story” of the piece in my head. I have never owned any KP collection books….just perused a ton of them 😉 Personal favorites are in the Capra collection. I definitely am eyeing a purchase of that lovely sea green shawl! 🙂

  24. Sharon Sheehan / September 29, 2013

My absolute favorite is “Illuminated Lines” My next two favorites are “Rocky Shore” & “American Prairie.” I also liked “Wool of the Andes” and “Uptown Chic.” Unfortunately, when selecting “High Desert Collection,” I get “Tumble Weed Vest” instead, so I don’t know what that collection looks like.

  25. Kiti / September 29, 2013

I like some designs in each, but I really like the sweater on the cover of Capra.

    • Adele Higgins / September 30, 2013

  31. Diana Schooling / September 29, 2013

I love the Capra collection, especially the cardigan on the front. I have a slightly shorter neck than most, so the lower profile neckline is hard to find and perfect for me.

  32. Carla Kipen / September 29, 2013

In Tune, although I also really like Reclaimed and Capra. But the In Tune patterns are very original yet wearable and not weird. Looks like some of them use rather challenging cables, but the end result would be worth the trouble.

  33. Emily / September 29, 2013

    Illuminated Lines is beautiful!

  34. shelly weis / September 29, 2013

  60. Lil Hasz / September 29, 2013

I have spent too much time looking at the different patterns because I can not decide which one I like the best. But, I did knit the Chickadee Pullover and was not thrilled with this sweater. It fits nice and even looks nice. But, just a little too boring. This is not going to stop me from trying many, many other patterns. Keep up the postings, love them.

  61. Karen / September 29, 2013

(Sigh) All of the collections designs are so gorgeous! I have to say, though, that when I look at the cover of “Hearth & Home” I’m tempted to curl up in that fronds afghan on a chilly autumn afternoon and read the mystery-romance-chicklit book that someone left just for me.

  149. Donna Oland / September 27, 2013

It’s a hard choice between reclaimed ans Hearth & Home.

I can’t decide on just one.

  154. Essie Bruell / September 27, 2013

I’m so glad I took the opportunity to browse all the books. Some slipped by me when they were first released, and I found many patterns that piqued my interest. I had some ambivalence related to my choice, because In Tune and 20th Century Graphic both have amazing patterns. My final choice is 20th Century Graphic, with its modern silhouettes and wonderful color treatments. Ann Weaver has some unique color expressions that I love.

  155. Helene Willson / September 27, 2013

My favorite is Hearth and Home Collection by Kerin Dimeler Laurence. I love all of her designs.

It’s so hard to choose. I LOVE the cover sweater on, Reclaimed, then there are all the gorgeous cables in, Rocky Shores, but the dandelion runner in, Hearth and Home…

Too bad we can’t do a “create your own ebook” where you choose your favorite patterns for a mix and match collection *^.^*

Love the Reclaimed collection. The Cable Embrace Cardigan is GORGEOUS!

  201. Lynda / September 27, 2013

They are all so beautiful -but the celtic cables have to be my favourite – hard for me as my hands go numb easily (due to MS), but so gratifying when I have finished.

  202. Lisa Patrick / September 27, 2013

  208. Michelle / September 27, 2013

My goal is to get a sweater and socks done in the next year. American Prairie has both, and a lovely winter shawl. Capra has three sweaters I could see me wearing, and one I already have the yarn for.

Reading the comments it was hard to decide!
    Thanks for a great give-away!

  209. Carol / September 27, 2013

Could I trade lives with Kerin? The cover of Hearth and Home is so fresh. The inside collection is noteworthy also. Enjoy many of her designs. Several patterns in First Spring Light 2013 have I lusted after. Ahh!

I am in LOVE with the Wool of the Andes Pattern Collection. As a college kid, it’s hard to find time to knit, but harder to find money to shop. Knitting is much cheaper 🙂

  479. Krksta / September 26, 2013

  498. Holly / September 26, 2013

I started knitting 18 months ago and challenge myself with every new project. The booklet, Modern Sophisticate, is my favorite. I’ve been wanting to knit a simple garment. I like the looks of the pullover and the cardigan.

  500. Barb Pampel / September 26, 2013

Capra is a winner in my book. I love the texture that the Dianthe sweater offers in the larger sizes, which I don’t think will add a lot of girth to the body. Well designed.

  501. Loretta / September 26, 2013

I have to say Capra. (At least right now.The more I look the more favorites I find.) Beautiful!

  502. Catrina / September 26, 2013

  508. Tony / September 26, 2013

There are a lot of great patterns, but my favorite would have to be Cryptozoology – my son would love them!

  509. Melissa Szelistowski / September 26, 2013

I love the colors and fair isle patterns of the “Classic Color” collection, but I have to say that the “Reclaimed” collection is my favorite (today at least!). The combination of some really wearable items with unique details is what makes it a great collection.

  510. Deborah Castelli / September 26, 2013

Wow! Gorgeous designs….and with stunning yarns. Perfect combination! I have 5 close knitting friends that I’d love to share these books with.

My favourite is “Hearth & Home”.

  515. Karen / September 26, 2013

It’s hard to pick a favourite. I think the top contenders are City Tweed, Capra and Reclaimed.

I have yet to make a sweater but would like to try one or more of the lovely sweaters and dresses in any of those books.

  516. Bev Slayden / September 26, 2013

I recently returned to the “art” of knitting, and am amazed to see all the beautiful projects and collections in the books. I love the challenge of new patterns and enjoy seeing the finished items!

  517. Darlene Horning / September 26, 2013

I would love the fern afghan. To be wrapped up in that would make me feel like I was out in the forest. So man beautiful patterns in all the books it’s hard to choose just one.

I’ve really been intrigued by the collections and would love to try one or more. L

  519. Michelle Gregerson / September 26, 2013

  520. Diane Buganski / September 26, 2013

I spend my money on yarn, and never buy books because I want YARN. This would give me a great way to get some knitting books that have great patterns and ideas!

  521. CharlotB / September 26, 2013

Reversible Basics is my overall favorite.

  522. Amanda / September 26, 2013

My favorite is the City Tweed 2013 collection. I had a hard time choosing though.

  523. Beth Signor / September 26, 2013

I just got the City Tweed book a few days ago and can’t wait to do the Cabled Faux Argyle Cardi. I also have my eye on the Hearth & Home Pattern Collection — the botanical designs are classics.

  524. kim / September 26, 2013

i would love to win the hearth and home collection reclaimed is intreging too

  525. Alicia / September 26, 2013

For me, the perfect introduction to knitting my first sweater would be ‘Light Basics’. Not too involved and thinner fabrics ( I get warm so easily) make it less intimidating and more comfortable.

  526. Bea / September 26, 2013

I love the new tweed collection!

  527. Pearl / September 26, 2013

I want Capra ! I have so many books from your sales, tempted to purchase more.

  528. Dawn H / September 26, 2013

Why Cryptozoology, of course. Who doesn’t want to knit a Kracken and a El Chupacabra?

  529. Bethany / September 26, 2013

City Tweed! My absolute favorite is the Cabled Faux Argyle Cardigan… Beautiful! 🙂

  530. Cheryl / September 26, 2013

Love to read all kinds of books but the leaf/fern afghan on the Heart and Home book looks awesome! Perfect to make!

  531. Sherry Walls / September 26, 2013

  532. Pam / September 26, 2013

Love, Love Love the new, fresh, yet traditional takes in a lot of the patterns and books offered by Knit Picks, Keep them coming.

      Love the ‘Reclaimed’ book.

Island really evokes the Pacific Northwest – my favorite part of the country.

  542. Jennifer Frodge / September 26, 2013

While they are accentuated all beautiful and each has its own merit, I absolutely adore the Capra. Swooooooon!

  543. Stacey D / September 26, 2013

Cool! I’m enamored by the Classic Color collection right now. But I love so many of the designs, it’s hard to pick! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  544. Connie Hendricks / September 26, 2013

Hard to make up my mind but I think I’m going to say my 1st choice is Reclaimed Fall 2013 & the really close 2nd is the Hearth & Home Collection. All of them look so beautiful.

  545. Glenna Dean / September 26, 2013

Can’t wait to try them all!

  546. Karen / September 26, 2013

Sunset over the Cascades and Modern Sophisticate are the two that i like and I can’t decide which one I like like best!

  547. Gina / September 26, 2013

I don’t even know where to begin to pick a favorite collection. There are at least 2 patterns from each collection I would love to make. Your designers offer classic yet modern/stylish designs in techniques that any knitter/crocheter could tackle successfully, including double knits as seen in the Hearth and Home Collection. Since I need to narrow it down to one, I choose City Tweed. I love all of the designs in that collection for their classic style and luscious yarns.

  548. Penny Reese / September 26, 2013

I have Study Hall Knits and First Light everything in them is great. Now I must have Illuminated Lines. The symmetry of the colorwork is incredible. Knit Picks is my go-to yarn for color, quality and economy.

  549. Diane Clark / September 26, 2013

I love Hearth and Home – especially the fern blanket!

  550. Olga / September 26, 2013

I love the simplicity, clean lines and wearability of the Light basics collection. But really so many awesome patterns.

  551. Cherie Counter / September 26, 2013

The Wool of the Andes is my choice.

  552. Alice Pieper / September 26, 2013

I love the Windswept the best, although Serenity comes in a close second. I want to make almost every garment in the Windswept booklet. The skirt alone is worth getting Windswept.

  553. cheryl cameron / September 26, 2013

I love them all! Reclaimed, and Uptown Chic are fav’s for sure. Its hard to pick between so many great collections……

  554. Chelsie / September 26, 2013

    I love Rocky Shores!

  555. Brenda / September 26, 2013

I love all of them but I’d have to say Illuminated Lines is tops on my wish list right now – working on learning to do cables (and read charts) and one day want to get into colorwork.

  556. gloria wyatt / September 26, 2013

Haven’t tried it yet, but love to work with cashmere!v

  557. Juli / September 26, 2013

  558. Sarah Hanson / September 26, 2013

    I love First Light!

  559. Rachel / September 26, 2013

I personally own First Light, and look through it frequently as motivation to finish up my UFOs so I can give the patterns the attention they deserve. I love the classic look of all the patterns. Simply timeless!

  560. Laurence / September 26, 2013

It’s a very difficult choice but I’d go wit Light Basics. The finishing on these look like they could last a lifetime and more!

  561. Lauren / September 26, 2013

I think 20th Century Graphic is the most interesting book to me right now. It looks like a great way to feature small skeins of handspun in a garment with millspun yarn.

  562. Eileen Flynn / September 26, 2013

I love first light or the cashmere book.

  563. Kathryn / September 26, 2013

I like them all but really like the hearth and home, such lovely leaves.

  564. Kat / September 26, 2013

Oh my gosh….I have to choose just one?! Hmmmm….well, I like the Capra Collection, the Cryptozoology looks like so much fun, and I REALLY like the Illuminated Lines (although the patterns look so complicated, it’s a bit daunting), but I love the Hearth and Home! Those are patterns I would love to fill my home (and my friends and families homes) with! Knit Picks has so many awesome patterns, it gives me a headache trying to choose! ; )

  574. Penni / September 26, 2013

I love ALL of them!! But I think the Reclaimed and Capra are neck in neck in the race to !st!!! Thanks for the chance to get the books!!

  575. Katie Porter / September 26, 2013

It’s really hard to pick a favorite! I love the Winsome collection, the Geometric collection, the Dandelion pillows in Hearth and Home, and the Serenity Crochet. I love them all.

  576. Michelle / September 26, 2013

Knit to Flatter! Who couldn’t use that?

  577. Kimberly / September 26, 2013

I love the Reclaimed collection. The lines are funky and fun, but still very wearable!

I love the Reclaimed Collection. Although, it is hard to choose just one!

  597. Dagny / September 26, 2013

I like Northern Lights. I’m kinda obsessed with stranded knitting right now.

  598. Olivia Nuckols / September 26, 2013

I live and work on a family dairy farm . Most days are spent in Jeans and Ts…So when I do go out I like to dress up in my hand knits. I prefer those to be feminine and romantic or classic arans and cables….First Light, Rocky Shores and Illuminated Lines are my kind of stuff…I love your yarb selection and patterns. Wish you had more selection in your lace weights and the Bare selections in cones…

  599. Cindy Farmer / September 26, 2013

I LOVE the Hearth and Home book. There is nothing in there I wouldn’t make.

  602. Melinda / September 26, 2013

It’s so hard to choose just one, they’re all gorgeous! I think I would love to try out the patterns in Sunset Over the Cascades first, I’ve always been interested in trying out something delicate and lacy. 614. Chris Bach / September 26, 2013

Asking me to choose a favorite collection is like asking me which child is my favorite! Impossible!! One of the first I want to try is the Circlet Cardigan in the Illuminated Lines Collection. I love the the yoke detail and the shape is flattering to every type of figure!

  615. Kira R. / September 26, 2013

The “First Light” book peeked my interests

  616. Norma Rigg / September 26, 2013

Classic styling, elegant simplicity and subtle use of color are the hallmarks of this selection. The afghan in Hearth and Home makes me yearn for winter and the rhythmic clicking of needles as I sit in front of a warm fire!

  617. Beatriz Vargas / September 26, 2013

I liked them all. Each has something that I would love to create. I love the pattern of the Blazing Autum Scarf. I can see the fern blanket on the couch of my T.V. Room and using it to be warm and cozy.

  639. Joyce Donaldson / September 26, 2013

City Tweeds is the one. My mother was raised in Scotland, and anything with plaid or tweed immediately brings out the Scottish part of me.

  640. Susan / September 26, 2013

Hearth and Home would be my choice, I love making afghans.

  641. Cynthia Leffler / September 26, 2013

I am starting to begin to make knitted things again as gifts for my Children at Christmas…they requested it…..I thought once they grew up they wouldn’t want hand made things again and to my delight they want something hand made each Christmas we have begun the tradition all over again…..so the Capra 2013 collection….would be a wonderful additions to my collection of books. This sweater would absolutely look wonderful on my daughter.

My favorite book is the First Light book because the designs are so varied and each design shows off the unique quality of each yarn.

  651. Shannon / September 26, 2013

I can only pick one favorite??? Wow – I didn’t realize you had so many books in the KP Collections!!! I’ve had my eye on Light Basics and Rocky Shores for a while, so I’d have to say one of those is my favorite, but I love the fern afghan on the cover of Hearth & Home, the Celtic-inspired patterns in Illuminated Lines, and the reversibleness of Reversible Basics. Hey, wait – that’s five – I think I should be the grand prize winner! 😉

  656. Shannon / September 26, 2013

I’m torn between Reclaimed and Urban Texture.

  657. lisa / September 26, 2013

I just love the cables in Rocky Shores

  658. Terri L / September 26, 2013

After sifting through all the wonderful collections, City Tweed gets my vote, followed closely by Capra, and Illuminated Lines. Oh, lets face it! They are all wonderful!

  659. Amanda / September 26, 2013

I would pick In Tune although Light Basics would be a very close second.

I love the Capra with cashmere and would like to make the cover cardigan of the Capra book. My husband recently knit the Lily Chin reversible cable and Tree of Life afghans and would love the ‘Reilly Afghan’ in the Wool of the Andes book. There are so many beautiful and interesting patterns to choose from.

  665. Sarah / September 26, 2013

I have to admit I love the idea of knitting sweaters using Capra, so that is the collection I’m most drawn to. I find it funny that I say how much I hate cables, but I’m always drawn to their designs and love the end products so would enjoy the opportunity to knit with Capra and the cover sweater.

  666. Nicholette / September 26, 2013

Sunset over the Cascades is my favorite! But they’re all wonderful.

  675. Julie Wittrock / September 26, 2013

Every collection has at least one exquisite pattern. Like the person who said that today, at least, he/she has a favorite, I had to choose what looks the most awesome TODAY. I managed to narrow it down to the Wool of The Andes collection, but was it ever hard!

  676. Nicole / September 26, 2013

City Tweed. Not an easy decision, but I do love CT, and I could see myself wearing almost all of those designs. P.S. Please pick me! 😉

Hearth and Home is my favorite. The afghan is like nothing I’ve seen before. This past year both my husband’s and my mom passed. My husband’s mom was named Fern and I’d love to do the afghan in memory of her and the dandelions in memory of my mom who was cared for so compassionately by Hospice Alliance whose logo is a dandelion blowing in the wind exactly like the ones in the patterns. I can’t believe how perfect this is…

  733. Suzanne / September 26, 2013

  790. Liesel / September 26, 2013

    City Tweed for the win!

  791. Karen / September 26, 2013

    Reclaimed would be my choice.

  792. Beth Hilgartner / September 26, 2013

For me, it’s the Illuminated Lines collection. The interplay of colors and the Celtic inspired patterns stir the inspiration pot for my own designs, as well as making me want to knit up the ones in the book.

  793. R Zacher / September 26, 2013

    City Tweed!

  794. Julia Vedders / September 26, 2013

I love being able to get patterns as a PDF and take them everywhere with me on my iPad. I am addicted to cables, so I love the new pattern collection for Capra yarn. I look forward to knitting more cabled sweaters!

  795. Lynne Phelps / September 26, 2013

WOTA collection, I love that burgundy cardigan! But I love them all, especially in PDF!

  796. Flo Flory / September 26, 2013

    Love Hearth & Home!

  797. Lyle Rice / September 26, 2013

While I love all the collections, Hearth and Home has so many designs I want to make for gifts and for myself. Wonderful nature inspired pieces!

  798. Patricia / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed is my favourite, and capita seems really nice too!

    • Patricia / September 26, 2013

Oops! Capra, not capita (oh, autocorrect!)

  799. Karen Morrison / September 26, 2013

I like all of them but probably Hearth and Home and Capra the best. Heath and Home because I love the bring warmth to other people and Capra for the separates.

  800. Carolyn / September 26, 2013

I fell in love with the City Tweed collection and would enjoy starting with the Cabled Faux Argyle Cardigan.

  801. Kate / September 26, 2013

I am in love with Hearth & Home!

  802. Cathy Williams / September 26, 2013

Love the books and the patterns.

  803. Melissa (knittymelissa) / September 26, 2013

I’m having a current longing for tweed and just ordered some KP tweed yarns, so I’m going to say City Tweed!

  804. Kimberly B / September 26, 2013

I use both electronic patterns and patterns from books, but my firm preference is for the printed page. There’s just something tactile and comforting about the printed page. I love, love, love my knitting book collection and I love the KP Collections. The pictures, the layouts, the choices in patterns, the whole presentation and the knitting “experience” they create! My current fav is “Reclaimed.” Why? I’m a sucker for Fall and I love the way the patterns are presented – classics with a twist. They make me want to go for a nature walk and then snuggle up with some hot tea and knitting needles to start a new project! Thank you KP for making knitting such a joy!

  805. cas / September 26, 2013

I have First Light so I’ll call that my favorite – too hard to choose among all the other beauties!

  806. Liz Honig / September 26, 2013

Just from the cover, I’d say the Capra collection looks lovely.

  807. Bunny Hand / September 26, 2013

American Prairie has the relaxed look that’s perfect for my tiny island home

  808. Sandra Benward / September 26, 2013

Love these books. The collection look wonderful. Oh I LOVE LOVE the Capra Collection……

  809. Mary Anne Cutler / September 26, 2013

I love the the cover photography on the books.

  810. April R. / September 26, 2013

Geometric is awesome! I love everything about it.

  811. Julie Ehrlich / September 26, 2013

I absolutely adore the Capra Collection!
Classic lines and modern shapes in luxe yarn make me yearn for the colder season, and inspire me to create beautiful gifts for loved ones. Capra also makes me want to treat myself to a beautiful new garment to enjoy the holidays in. Can’t wait to get started on a fabulous new project!

  812. Miriam / September 26, 2013

I’m so glad I looked at these. At first I thought I would just like them all but the Geometric Pattern Collection is my personal winner.

  813. Tirzah Price / September 26, 2013

I’ve been drooling over the cardigan in the Classic Color book. Not quite confident enough to try it yet, but I am steadily working my way up to that level!

  814. Melanie / September 26, 2013

I love looking through pattern books and KP has so many great ones to offer. I love all the colors and the layouts and the designs. I wish I had nothing else to do but sit and knit. I derive enormous pleasure from my lovely addiction.

  815. Lisa / September 26, 2013

I would love “Cryptozoology” because there are so many children in my building and so little time to find and/or make unusual inexpensive gifts.
    Hope I win! Yhank you.

  816. karen / September 26, 2013

I am sort of new at knitting and think all three of these books would be a fantastic addition to my meagre library.
I agree with the gal who would rather have a hard copy book than a e book. I prefer to hold my books and look at them at my leisure not on the computer or an ereader.
If I must choose I would say t would be the Reclaimer as I am a dedicated re-cycler.

  817. Dennise Heavner / September 26, 2013

I own Illuminated Lines and LOVE it. I’m saving up to make the cardigan and the bag. I too prefer pattern books to ebooks except when it comes to copying the pages so I can make notes on the pattern;-)

  818. Lorraine / September 26, 2013

City tweed is my favorite, although light basics and ballerinas in pink are not far behind. None of these are in my pattern collection… Might have to fix that 🙂
Thanks for the chance too win 🙂

  819. Glenna Gentzyel / September 26, 2013

I would have to pick city tweeds as my favorite collection then wool of the Andes would be my second choice

  820. Shana / September 26, 2013

The Capra 2013 collection is just gorgeous!

  821. Cheryl duncan-molloy / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed has long been a favourite collection!

  822. Laura Salmon / September 26, 2013

Illuminated lines is my favorite!! I especially love the green celtic knot sweater! Sooo beautiful! I canot knit I only crochet… I have to get my friend to make it…lol.. your yarns are the best !

Casmere is my FAVORITE fiber! I would to knit every pattern in the Capra collection!

  824. Linda / September 26, 2013

The entire collection looks interesting but I love the Hearth & Home collection. I love to knit afghans to curl up in on a rainy day with a good book, for babies to be warm and secure and needy people who need to feel loved.

  825. Jennifer / September 26, 2013

I love working with colour (especially Palette!) and I find that most gift recipients are amazed by anything that involves colourwork. I would love to get the Classic Color collection.

  826. Rebecca / September 26, 2013

There are several collections I really like, but the hearth and home book is my favorite. I really love the dandelion table runner!

  832. Laurie Hunt / September 26, 2013

I love the patterns in First Light — I’d wear just about all of them.

  838. Dorothy Duda / September 26, 2013

It is hard to choose but chose Hearth and Home with the lovely afghan of leaves.

  839. Renee / September 26, 2013

My favorite is Light Basics, sometimes you just need a simple classic top 🙂

  845. Diane Lanza / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed would be my choice timeless designs!

  846. heidi brill / September 26, 2013

It’s not an easy choice! I always buy books from you-you always have the best prices and selections! I have been a KP customer for years, purchased many needle sets and yarn too! ok,so I have to choose-Hearth and Home;because the afghan on the cover is really tempting me!!!!!!

  847. SharonQ / September 26, 2013

    American Prairie!

I love the Illuminated Lines collection. The Celtic motifs and the cable designs are gorgeous.

  849. Mabel / September 26, 2013

I like Reclaimed. I also like the Classic Color Patterns; colorworks is one family of books I do not own yet. I like City Tweed because I’m working with the yarn and I really like it! But Reclaimed has more projects that I would actually consider making.

  850. Allison / September 26, 2013

I love all these collections. How would I ever choose? Wait, Reclaimed. 🙂

  851. Barbara Ann Wright / September 26, 2013

  852. ME / September 26, 2013

Hard to pick between Illuminated Lines and Study Hall knits for me. They are all fantastic collections though.

  865. Leah / September 26, 2013

I am firmly in the camp of people who prefer the printed page to an electronic version. I had an eReader for years and have turned my back on them because of the fact that they’re intentionally made to be obsolete in a few years. Give me an honest-to-goodness book any day!

I agree with your assessment about the quality of these books, Stacey! The photography is lovely.

  866. Kellie H / September 26, 2013

A year’s worth of knitting fun at least… sign me up!

  902. laura / September 26, 2013

  903. Debbie / September 26, 2013

Love them all, but Hearth and Home is my favorite – the botanical themes really speak to me

  904. Timiae / September 26, 2013

I think it would have to be Hearth & Home (at the moment… my favorite changes depending on my mood!). I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t own any of the collections… I always add them to my cart, but then replace them with yarn.

  935. Terri Carroll / September 26, 2013

I have a few favs: Capra 2013 for the luxurious cashmeres a weakness of mine. Rocky shores for the gorgeous cables, 20 th century graphics which I have been coveting for the last year but my all time want would have to be light basics everyday wear! I love working with finer yarn and these patterns I could wear everyday and look like a million dollars dressed up or dressed down. Wishing for some luck that I may be able to win it and I could start knitting instead of dreaming!

  936. Julia / September 26, 2013

Illuminated Lines is my favorite of the ones I’ve purchased. I have plans to make almost every single one of the patterns!

    I like Twentieth Century Graphic.

  949. Vivian / September 26, 2013

I love the looks in First Light, I learned to knit so I could make some beautiful clothes, for my oddly shaped body:)

  950. E Choi / September 26, 2013

    Reclaimed!

  951. Susanne Martin / September 26, 2013

I just love the Capra Collection. I am new to knitting and just love your website. I could really use the books!!

  952. Meg / September 26, 2013

Twentieth Century Graphic is my favorite, but the new City Tween 2013 collection is running a very close second.

  953. Rebecca Boukikaz / September 26, 2013

I like Urban Texture. The stitch patterns are beautiful on the projects in the book, but I already have visions in my head about what else could be made with them. Close second is Illuminated Lines, the garment shapes and of course the patterns on the pieces.

  954. danelle / September 26, 2013

I really love all the items in the Northern Lights collection! I have two of the sweaters in my queue, I just need the patterns!!

  955. Catherine LeBourgeois / September 26, 2013

My favorite is the Capra Collection. I just absolutely love the Dianthe Cardigan. I have advanced my knitting skills to include two sweaters this past year, and am working on a third. This will definitely be my fourth. The Collection also includes more sweaters that I would like to knit. This is a great collection! Thank you.

  956. Catherine A. McClarey / September 26, 2013

Probably the Serenity Crochet Pattern Collection, because it’s the only one which is obviously crochet-only. A lot of the other ones have lovely-looking projects on their covers, but I would be more interested in them if I knew that they at least contained both knitting & crochet patterns, since I don’t knit. (I used to, but it’s been so long that I would have to re-teach myself.)

  957. Stephanie W. / September 26, 2013

Just one favorite?! My newest favorite is probably Capra, though I did purchase the Illuminated Lines without hesitation when I first found it. I haven’t knit any projects out of it, but one of the sweaters is in my queue. Urban Texture is my second favorite at the moment.

  958. Sarah / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed is my favourite 🙂 Great giveaway! 5 titles is so generous 🙂

  959. Mickey / September 26, 2013

They are all tempting, but the Reclaimed collection is my favorite. I like that gray tunic with the wide funnel-neck and bands of reverse stockinette on the arms. It looks like it would be fun to knit, and fun to wear.

  960. Saavikam77 / September 26, 2013

First Light is my favorite collection so far. I just adore the lightweight garments and the Sun Dial Shawl. 🙂

  961. stephanie / September 26, 2013

    I love Hearth and Home…..beautiful!

  962. Melanie / September 26, 2013

I love the Hearth and Home collection! And Capra, and City Tweed…

  963. Rolene / September 26, 2013

So many amazing collections, it is hard to choose. I think my favorite would be the City Tweed or the Ballerinas in Pink

  964. Anne C / September 26, 2013

Such hard choices! Love Reclaimed knits – so classic but nice updated touches for today. Capra has knits I’m dying to try. But then there’s Hearth & Home – my fireside chair is calling for a warm throw! Love them all!

  965. Lynn Drzewucki / September 26, 2013

I just love the Capra and City Tweed Pattern collections. The others are great two, but those two are my favorite, and I don’t own either of them yet, but would love to win!

  966. heather / September 26, 2013

I love the City Tweed Collection. I have added it to my wish list projects for myself.

  967. Sarah / September 26, 2013

Oh wow, I have to pick one? Good thing you are letting the winner pick five! I think Windswept has the most things I would actually wear.

  968. Eva Stender / September 26, 2013

Oh I like that grey stripe dress in the Fall 2013 collection book. That would be a great challenge to finish as a new knitter.

  969. Marie / September 26, 2013

Oh wow! I haven’t been able to get any of these, but I’ve been longing for Reclaimed! I love the collar on the cover sweater so much. There are beautiful cables, and the red jacket is gorgeous; I love jackets and we just ran headlong into winter here!

(But that dandelion design for Home & Hearth is incredible!)

  970. Kris / September 26, 2013

Love the Capra collection–cables and cashmere, who could ask for anything else?

  971. Sue O / September 26, 2013

I would be so happy to any one of the books.

  972. Kathleen P / September 26, 2013

Reversible Basics could also have the word “versatile” in its title. The patterns are all wonderful and useful items that I would love to own and I know would be appreciated as gifts too!

Oh boy. each one was better than the last one, but I guess I’d have to choose Rocky Shores! 🙂

  981. Candice / September 26, 2013

I would have to say that my favorite would either be Study Hall Knits or Modern sophisticate. 🙂 Such CUTE patterns!

  982. Gail / September 26, 2013

Love the ‘Reclaimed” book. So many cables in so many interesting patterns.

Love love love the Hearth & Home collection! Adore earthy patterns. Can’t wait!

  1004. Connie Kline / September 26, 2013

That was hard! I love so many of the patterns. But I think my favorite would have to be Reclaimed: Fall 2013 Collection. Thanks for a great giveaway!

  1005. Michele Merrell / September 26, 2013

That would have to be Rocky Shores. Simply wonderful!

  1006. Josh Nuttall / September 26, 2013

All so gorgeous, but the First Light images stuck out to me so much!

  1008. Renee Tellen / September 26, 2013

That was like choosing my favorite child out of all five of my children – impossible. However, I did keep coming back to Urban Texture. Fabulous!

  1009. Jen M / September 26, 2013

I think my favorite is the Hearth and Home Collection. The table runner is gorgeous.

  1010. Catalina / September 26, 2013

I love them all … it really is very hard to choose …aaarrrrgh… I am torn between Serenity Crochet and Sunset Over The Cascades… Oh, wait – make that Urban Texture or Rocky Shores. No, I got it – Ballerinas in Pink… Scratch that, Winsome Knits. Ok, I give up… I just love them all!

  1011. Suzy / September 26, 2013

  1018. Melanie / September 26, 2013

Classic Color or Capra. Though I am sure my boyfriend would say Vintage-Inspired Baseball Knits!

  1019. Rachel Frick Cardelle / September 26, 2013

Cruel to make us pick a number one, but I’d have to say “Reclaimed”… but shhh… I don’t want the other knitting books to hear me or it might hurt their feelings.

    Capra 2013!

  1028. Esther Sprinkle / September 26, 2013

My favorite is the “City Tweed 2013 Collection.” I love City Tweed with it’s wooly goodness, alpaca softness, and the rustic look of tweed. The patterns are terrific: simple lines made interesting with cables, some lace, a bit of color work and texture. I look forward to making up many of the designs in this great book.

  1029. Joan / September 26, 2013

I love reclaimed. I want everything in it.

  1030. Thomas Karlsen / September 26, 2013

  1035. Glenda / September 26, 2013

I make prayer shawls and give them away. I could use any of the collections. I have used Comfy to make them and checked out Palette and it looks beautiful.

I like the variety of the items in the Reclaimed book. It is on my wishlist currently.

  1042. G. K. Green / September 26, 2013

It was a very difficulty choice, but the Hearth and Home collection finally won out as my favorite … My criterion was simple: Would I buy each and every pattern in the collection individually? For Hearth and Home, the answer was a resounding “Yes!” to all six. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win terrific pattern books from KnitPicks …

  1043. Roz / September 26, 2013

I like Capra and Hearth and Home especially, but they all are really nice.

  1044. Catherine / September 26, 2013

So many choices, there are several that almost were the top pick, however, the designs in First Light won me over. Second pick is a tie between Sunset Over the Cascades and Ballerinas in Pink.
Thank you for having the contest.

There are several I love, but I think Serenity is my favorite.

  1058. Debbie / September 26, 2013

My favorite is the one I own, Twentieth Century Graphic, but they all are great and I’m sure I’d have no trouble at all finding five (or six, or seven, or…)more if I win the giveaway. The trouble would be in narrowing my choice to just one (or even five!).

Ballerinas in Pink is my favorite.

  1067. Cassandra / September 26, 2013

All of the books are lovely and it would be great to win any of them – I like Reclaimed but I also think Capra is great – best thing would be to win all five! Thanks for the opportunity

Illuminated Lines! I love the Celtic inspired designs.

  1069. CarolynJ / September 26, 2013

What a fun adventure this was looking through all these incredible pattern books! Very tough to chose an absolute fave as so many held wonderful designs that I oohed and ahh’d over! I would have to say that The Art of Seamless Knitting held the most # of patterns that I knew I would feel very comfy wearing (and knitting!). I am loving cables and that combo did it for me 🙂 Illuminated Lines comes in 2nd for me as those colors and celtic designs are outstanding.

  1070. Julie / September 26, 2013

  1076. Gladys Ellen Reinwald / September 26, 2013

First Light, City Tweed and Reclaimed are among favorite collections here. The different choices that a 70+ year old can knit and wear plus knit to give as gifts are nearly endless with any of the collections mentioned in this blog comment. Hurrah!

  1103. Barbara Prince / September 26, 2013

I would love them all, or any, so hard to choose!

  1104. Lisa Charpentier / September 26, 2013

Tough decision! Either city tweed or Capra would be awesome patterns to knit.

  1105. Jaclyn S. / September 26, 2013

I really love the Hearth and Home, Study Hall Knits and Sunset Over the Cascades collections! I don’t have any of these. I think my favorite is Capra though. I love the cables!

  1106. Marilyn Richards / September 26, 2013

I love all the sweater patterns. It’s tough to choose a favorite, maybe the sweaters around the world collection.

  1107. Pat R / September 26, 2013

I love the Capra 2013 especially the sweater on the cover.

  1108. Kathy Ash / September 26, 2013

For me it has to be the Kyoko Toque & Mitts pattern in the Reclaimed book. For some reason I have gotten into knitting mitts. I have an abundance of sock yarn and no longer wish to be knitting socks. Mitts have become my new go to.

  1109. Cindy Antene / September 26, 2013

I like so many of these collections. But, I can not get past the collar on the cover of ‘Reclaimed’. Beautiful!

  1110. Jami / September 26, 2013

I love the Capra 2013 collection, I would wear everything in it and capra is such a yummy yarn!

  1111. Jill / September 26, 2013

I’m currently working on the Turnstone Pullover from Winsome Knits. I love this collection and can’t wait to knit more patterns from it. These collections are sooooo beautiful!

  1112. Leslie / September 26, 2013

I like Light Basics. I already own this one, but love how it is the perfect pattern to learn the construction of a garment and then you can add your own flare later!

  1113. Betsy / September 26, 2013

Rocky Shores, Classic Color, Capra, Hearth and Home, Windswept, Urban Texture, First Light, Illuminated Lines, Reclaimed, Reversible Basics, Northern Lights… How do you expect us to pick a favorite! I guess if forced to pick I would have to say either Reclaimed or Northern Lights.

  1114. Diane / September 26, 2013

If I really have to pick one it would be Hearth and Home. Some very different items to knit. The blue & brown table runner looks like something fun to try. The fern afghan looks like ferns that grow here. That’s my pick. Thanks for asking.

  1115. Amanda Hummer / September 26, 2013

I love the “Light Basics” collection. Living in a warmer climate I’m always so happy to find patterns that I can knit and still feel like they could be practical to wear!

  1116. Mary / September 26, 2013

So many good ones to choose from… I think City Tweed (Chevrons!!) is my favorite then Illuminated Lines for the classic aran sweaters and (I will try this some day) colorwork.

  1117. Jen Whited / September 26, 2013

I absolutely love Hearth and Home! I don’t even think that I would change any of the colors on the pictured items. I love the blanket on the cover, and love the table runner. Great collections, Knit Picks! Thank you!

  1118. Laura / September 26, 2013

I love them all! But my favorite might have to be Rocky shores. Just too much beauty!

  1119. Kim Miller / September 26, 2013

I love hearth and home, I don’t own it but would love to to make somethings out of it.

  1120. Sarah / September 26, 2013

I love that blanket on the Hearth and Home but I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t have time to finish it! So I am going to say Between the Trees is my favorite. I love the Hoodie pattern. I am not a skirt fan but I would knit the heck out of that gorgeous leaf skirt!

  1121. Kelly / September 26, 2013

Hard decision! I think I like City Tweed the best, but maybe Uptown Chic. I suppose I better win the set of five since I can’t pick one favorite!

  1122. Marilyn Maxfield / September 26, 2013

I definitely have to go with City Tweeds 🙂

  1123. Kirst / September 26, 2013

I love Cryptozoology! So funky and fun!

  1124. Donna Randol / September 26, 2013

I love to look at all the beautiful patterns. They motivate me to get busy knitting. If I had to choose just one Capra would be my first choice.

  1125. Jessica / September 26, 2013

    Serenity, since I am crocheter!

  1126. Megan / September 26, 2013

City tweed! I just bought the collection and yarn for two of the sweaters in it!

  1127. Kristen Fulfer / September 26, 2013

    My favorite is Urban Texture!

  1128. Janet Bradley / September 26, 2013

My favorite is City Tweeds. The designs are fresh but classic and I love the new tweed yarn, especially the pale green tweed. I will probably make the faux argyle cabled cardigan (I am intrigued by the description of the knitting from the shoulders down) for my blond daughter Alana. I have promised a cardigan and this design is so beautiful.

  1129. June Strieby / September 26, 2013

Definitely the City Tweed. Collection. All the patterns are just lovely!

  1130. Pat / September 26, 2013

I love the cables in the Rocky Shores collection.

  1131. Laurie / September 26, 2013

I do love Wool of the Andes yarn, it’s a favorite for hats, scarves and sweaters. However, if I had to choose just one collection, I would choose Cryptozoology. I have been drooling over this one since it came out!

  1132. Carol / September 26, 2013

    Cryptozoology — wonderful animals.

  1133. Cindy Morgan / September 26, 2013

My pick is “Sunset Over the Cascades”. It looks lovely from the cover!

  1134. Nadine Farmer / September 26, 2013

I love Hearth and Home. They look so pretty!

  1135. Patty Sack / September 26, 2013

My pick would be the Serenity Crochet Collection as I am a crocheter first and a knitter second!

  1136. Emily / September 26, 2013

    Sunset Over the Cascades…love lace!

  1137. Meg Duncan / September 26, 2013

Each one has a distinct flavor to the patterns. I do love Northern Lights and the Color pallettes in the fair isle patterns in all of your books. They are very modern and look rich….The front sweater on Capra is also very modern and distinct – the neutral color choice helps show off the pattern extremely well.

  1138. Nadine Farmer / September 26, 2013

I just love the Reclaimed book.

  1139. Monica / September 26, 2013

Illuminated Lines is the one I own and the one I love.

  1140. DB / September 26, 2013

Totally sold on the Capra Collection.
The Dianthe sweater is the best of the best!

  1141. Olya / September 26, 2013

I love Hearth and Home – would love to make something from this book!

  1142. Joyce / September 26, 2013

I am realativly new knitter. I entered my first project in the county fair and got first place ribbon. I need more books for my collection. Thank you for the fun contest.

  1143. Meg / September 26, 2013

Tough decision! But I love the Capra 2013 collection!

  1144. Sheigla / September 26, 2013

It’s so hard to choose one favorite, but I think the City Tweed collection has the most patterns that I want to knit right now, so I’ll go with that. 🙂

  1145. Kathy / September 26, 2013

Wow! How do I pick ONE? But, if I must, I’ll go with Hearth and Home. I haven’t done any home decor projects for myself, so maybe now’s the time!

  1146. Paula Mahinske / September 26, 2013

I would choose Hearth and Home. It looks very cozy and inviting and a great way to pray, wrapped or covered with the warmth of prayer knitting.

  1147. Lauren Quinlan / September 26, 2013

I think Reclaimed is my favorite–so many patterns good for curling up in at home but so stylish you could wear them anywhere.

  1148. melusine_tricote / September 26, 2013

Well, they are all gorgeous, but I think Capra is my favorite !

  1149. Michelle Carter / September 26, 2013

I hate just picking one!!! I’ll say “Reclaimed”. Beautiful!!!!!

  1150. jac / September 26, 2013

They’re all beautiful! But I really like Capra!

  1151. Anne Morris / September 26, 2013

Love them all but like Capra the most.

  1152. Janelle / September 26, 2013

I think my current favorite is City Tweed because it’s soooo autumnal and the weather is starting to turn where I live!

  1153. Therese Schwartz / September 26, 2013

I find Cryptozoology irresistible. And my bit more traditional pick would be Study Hall Knits (the grands would go crazy for some of those patterns)

  1154. Shelly / September 26, 2013

I love the windswept and have one pattern from the collection that I am saving for when I finish knitting Christmas gifts.

  1155. Lee Wells / September 26, 2013

My biggest problem is deciding which book I want! Never mind that our bookshelves are overflowing, there’s always room for one (or several) more. Right now I think Rocky Shores would be a good place to start; we all like sweaters with cables. Lee

  1156. Martina / September 26, 2013

‘Study Hall Knits’ is my favorite. Vests and other classic styles are right up my alley! Great pattern booklets!

  1157. Kim D. / September 26, 2013

I love Rocky Shores. Among others. 😀

  1158. Heather Nyack / September 26, 2013

I love the sweaters in the City Tweed collection (am trying to get the courage up to make my first sweater), as well as the tops in the Light Basics collection.

  1159. Peggy / September 26, 2013

Love the sweater on the front of Capra!

  1160. Anna / September 26, 2013

Baseed on the photos, City Tweed looks great 🙂 Love the sweaters!

  1161. Tammy Stafford / September 26, 2013

I love love love Urban Chic and In the Trees!

  1162. Turtle / September 26, 2013

i own since it’s release the american prairie collection. I bought the goods to make all items but the blanket. though i also adore the cover sweater of Capra as well. 🙂

  1163. Judy Miller / September 26, 2013

    Capra is my favorite.

  1164. Merin / September 26, 2013

The Capra collection is my favorite!

  1165. Karen / September 26, 2013

What a tough decision to pick only one!! I think I could be forced to narrow it down to Sunset over the Cascades. I really do adore lace ♥

  1166. Jayna Marrinan / September 26, 2013

Illuminated Lines or Windswept are in the top 2, but I’d enjoy any of them.

  1167. Melody Palm / September 26, 2013

So many choices, and not enough time for yarn! I had to flip a coin to decide on Capra 2013 — Cryptozoology gives me giggles whenever I see it.

  1168. Kristine Burke / September 26, 2013

Northern Lights! is definitely my favorite! I love the intricate patterns and colors =) this is my must have.

  1169. Lynn Clogston / September 26, 2013

Like the Cable Embrace Cardigan in the Reclaimed Collection.

I like the Cryptozoology! My kids would really love those items!

  1172. Penny / September 26, 2013

I’m drawn to the American Prairie collection, maybe because I live there. I especially like the Parachutes Wrap and the Hiking Socks.

  1173. Chris Klassen / September 26, 2013

My favorite is the City Tweed. Beautiful sweaters!

  1174. Adrienne / September 26, 2013

There are so many gorgeous collections. I *think* my favorite is the Capra collection.

  1175. Maria / September 26, 2013

    I love the Reclaimed cardigans.

  1176. Denise Lotter / September 26, 2013

I love them all, but if I had to choose just one I’d choose Capra. The cover cardigan is a winner!

  1177. Bianca / September 26, 2013

I’m having a really difficult time deciding on one pattern collection but if I really had to choose I would have to say Illuminated Lines is my favorite. Celtic color work gets me every time! So intricate and gorgeous!

  1178. Jaclyn Bailey / September 26, 2013

I love Reclaimed, with Hearth and Home in a very close second.

  1179. Deborah F / September 26, 2013

Love the City Tweed Collection. Also Capra. Classic Knits, stylish, and never out of style. Comfortable and useful and attractive.

  1180. Danielle B. / September 26, 2013

I have been drooling over Illuminated Lines for months. Wish I had more cash to buy every KP pattern book out there! You hit my style right on!

  1181. MonicaB / September 26, 2013

I really like the Reclaimed and Capra pattern books! The patterns are all so beautiful!

  1182. Michelle / September 26, 2013

They’re all great, but definitely the Hearth and Home one. I love the nature theme.

  1183. Jessica / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed has some beautiful patterns. If I had to choose one, it would be that book.

    • Jessica / September 26, 2013

I think I accidentally posted twice. Sorry.

  1184. Liz / September 26, 2013

I think my favorite right now is City Tweed 2013, although I also love Hearth and Home and Cryptozoology. It’s so hard to pick just one!

  1185. Hillary / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed! Had to buy it right away.

  1186. Mary Vogt / September 26, 2013

I love the Ballerinas in Pink collection. I want to make of everything 🙂

  1187. Denise / September 26, 2013

I’m loving Illuminated Lines and Capra.

  1188. Katherine Bolger Hyde / September 26, 2013

My favorite is Illuminated Lines, mainly because I’m an Irish redhead in love with all things Celtic. I want to make almost every pattern in it!

  1189. Mamie / September 26, 2013

I love the feel of cashmere!!! Especially when it’s next to my skin 🙂

  1190. Dennis Lugo-Coll / September 26, 2013

I love all of the classics, High Desert, American Prairie, Rocky Shores, but I think my favorite so far has to be High Desert. I love the concept and execution of each of those pieces, it was very well done!

  1191. Jennifer / September 26, 2013

I love the rich colors and subtle textures in Reclaimed – perfectly simple, sophisticated pieces!

  1192. Kelly / September 26, 2013

I think I’d have to go with Between the Trees! Soo pretty!

  1193. Lynda Brown / September 26, 2013

The Reclaimed is but favorite. Love the simplicity yet fresh look.

  1194. Heidi Andres / September 26, 2013

Not being a fast knitter my biggest dilemma is how to choose between “Reclaimed” and “Capra”!! 🙁

  1195. Karen Davies / September 26, 2013

Love so many but if I had to choose just one it would be the City Tweed as I love the Argyle cardigan – a true classic with great shaping and texture. Love it!

  1196. SusanB / September 26, 2013

I would love to have the Wool of the Andes Collection.

  1197. Maggie G. / September 26, 2013

I love Hearth and Home! It’s such a beautiful book. I also love the peek-a-boo effect of the garter stitch in the middle of the stockinette on the cover of Reclaimed. Very cool ideas!

  1198. Judy Salmans / September 26, 2013

    I LOVE Illuminated Lines

  1199. Jessica / September 26, 2013

Winsome Knits has some beautiful patterns. If I had to pick one book, it would be that one!

  1200. Michele / September 26, 2013

Hard to make a decision—but if I have to-City Tweeds.

  1201. Judi Kirby / September 26, 2013

I have coveted First Light from the moment I first saw it.
Each pattern is equisite! And…..um……choose me and I will advocate for world peace!

  1202. Heather Wenger / September 26, 2013

So hard to choose! I think my favorite has to be “Illuminated Lines”! I love all things Celtic! That collection just speaks to me on so many levels. I must sheepishly admit, I don’t own the book yet! Its on my “to do list”! 🙂

  1203. Karen Davies / September 26, 2013

I love so many of them but I guess my absolute favourite would have to be the City Tweed collection because of the Argyle cardigan pattern. It’s a classic – well tailored, lovely texture. Just beautiful!!

  1204. Lorraine Corriveau / September 26, 2013

I am very new to knitting, and love it all so far! The Illuminated Lines, with its Celtic motifs gives me something to aspier to..I dream of one day mastering the art of needle handling to actualy make something as beautiful and that I will want to wear in public!

  1205. chailee yap / September 26, 2013

I love the City Tweed collection. I find tweed yarns with flecks are interesting combinations, which greatly enhance the look of the knitted garment.

I am a beginner, will love to start my first knitted sweater with these lovely City Tweed collections.

  1206. Luna / September 26, 2013

Just love the sheer elegance of the patterns

  1207. Julietta Davidson / September 26, 2013

I loved checking out all the pattern books! My favorite is “Windswept”, with “Capra” a close second. I really like how the patterns are specific to the yarns you carry (I have a lot in my stash that needs to be used for something!)

  1208. Helene / September 26, 2013

My favorite is Urban Texture. I would love to make the lace vest.

  1209. Andrea / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed is my favourite overall. But the Cryptozoology is also pretty awesome.

  1210. Tammy Lyons / September 26, 2013

I have been wanting Between the Trees for a very long time. The patterns suit my sense of nature, texture, lace and woodsy-ness. Growing up in the backwoods of Michigan I have an affinity for trees!

  1211. DeeDeeKnits / September 26, 2013

I’m on a big shawl kick lately, especially beaded shawls. I think my favorite is Sunset Over the Cascades. It also reminds me of Seattle, where my family lives.

  1212. Karen / September 26, 2013

Reclaimed gets my vote. Great sweater pattern in there that I have queued up.

  1213. Helena Davison / September 26, 2013

Each book is lovelier than the next. How would one decide? Perhaps reclaimed. Hmmmmm

  1214. Sally Ingram / September 26, 2013

The First Light Collection had the “most likely to knit” items, but I like them all.

  1215. Heather / September 26, 2013

I really love Capra and Reclaimed. The sweater on the cover of Capra is so beautiful.

  1216. Jessica / September 26, 2013

Between the Trees is my pick. Earthy and beautiful!

  1217. Aggie R. / September 26, 2013

The beautiful designs of Windswept are my favorite. Very feminine yet comfortable to wear!

  1218. Jessica / September 26, 2013

Between the Trees is my pic. Earthy and beautiful!

  1219. Clara / September 26, 2013

    Capra. For sure. Love.

  1220. Aimee / September 26, 2013

    Reclaimed & Modern Sophisticate

  1221. Judith / September 26, 2013

It’s a toss-up between Capra and City Tweed collections. Thanks for the chance to win a copy.

  1222. Betania / September 26, 2013

Capra is my favorite, hands down (or hands up, for knitting?) because I would love to knit all the sweaters in the collection and even the scarf (I mostly like to knit sweaters). Other collections have nice things in them, but I personally would only want to knit about two sweaters in Reclaimed, City Tweed, First Light or Light Basics (although, the two pattern I do like in each of these books might be worth the price of the book, as they are very nice). Betania

  1223. Nora E / September 26, 2013

I love love love all but right now I’m digging the Reclaimed: fall 2013… It changes daily though 🙂

  1224. Janice Young / September 26, 2013

I cannot decide between the breathtakingly beautiful patterns in the Illuminated Lines book, The Rocky Shores book, or the Sunset Over the Cascades book, since I love colorwork, cables, and lace equally ! I love the feel of paper books, have not made the switch to ebooks. I may have to soon, as I am running out of bookshelf space ! Thank you for all the beautiful patterns (and yarn). Please keep them coming !

  1225. Stephanie / September 26, 2013

Uptown Chic and Capra are my favorites. The Burnside Tunic in the Uptown Chic collection is amazing.

  1226. Jenny Tabrum / September 26, 2013

I think it would have to be between Capra and Illuminated Lights!

  1227. Lisa / September 26, 2013

I’m a fan of complicated cabling, so Capra is the one for me!

  1228. Caroline P-Y / September 26, 2013

There are so many beautiful patterns in all of the books, but I think I’d have to say that Winsome Knits is my favorite!

  1229. Kim / September 26, 2013

The Capra 2013 has some amazing, gorgeous things in it,,,,definitely my choice!!!

  1230. honeybee33 / September 26, 2013

It’s almost impossible to pick just one favorite – I’m on my way to collecting them all. (which should keep me knitting through my life expectancy.)

I’m probably going to knit the most pieces from First Light; but Winsome Knits is really adorable; and out of the new ones my fave is probably Hearth and Home.

How do you ever contain the urge to “put down your work and pick up your crafting” long enough to get all these collections out???

  1231. Michelle / September 26, 2013

Illuminated Lines… so inspired by the color work!

  1232. Laura / September 26, 2013

I’ve loved the Illuminated Lines collection from the moment I saw it- I love celtic knotwork

  1233. Diana L / September 26, 2013

I like Hearth and Home, the throw on the cover is beautiful

  1234. Nyna Armstrong / September 26, 2013

    I love the Capra collection.

  1235. oonagh fibersmyth / September 26, 2013

I think it would be a tossup between ‘cryptozoology’ (because I have a teenager who’d love most of that stuff) and ‘hearth and home’ (because the dandelion blowing items are strangely attracting to me). so many pretty things…………

  1236. haley / September 26, 2013

I’m definitely in love with the Heart and Home collection right now.

  1237. Brenda / September 26, 2013

I love all the cables in the Rocky Shores collection!

  1238. Joanne Jeuch / September 26, 2013

It’s a toss up between City Tweed (because I love the character and feel of the CT yarns — a joy to knit with) and Illuminated Lines because of my Scottish Heritage. Here’s to hoping that I won’t be forced to choose between the two! 🙂

  1239. Frances / September 26, 2013

It’s a tough call. I loved the 2013 Capra collection as well as Uptown Chic. I love the meeting of modern drape with traditional textures and patterns.

  1240. Pam Daley / September 26, 2013

I’d have to go with either the In Tune or Serenity Collections – but it’s a tough choice!!

  1241. Jen R / September 26, 2013

I love Capra but Illuminated Lines has a special place in my heart for its challenge factor.

  1242. Abigail / September 26, 2013

I think Sunset Over the Cascades is my favorite, but it is really hard to choose, they are all so amazing.

  1243. Olivia / September 26, 2013

I’ve never noticed American Prairie before. Such a shame. I am now in love with that one!

  1244. Stephanie B / September 26, 2013

There are several that I would love to own, but my top pick is Cryptozoology. I love everything in it, especially the kraken scarf.

  1245. Ginny / September 26, 2013

What a hard choice to make. Too many wonderful collections to chose from. First Light had several neat patterns and the new City Tweed collection is also a winner. Also liked the Sunset Over the Cascades.

  1246. Denise Katz / September 26, 2013

It is a tough choice for me between Windswept and Capra. Love the style of both!

  1247. Jackie / September 26, 2013

I love the Serenity Collection! One of my goals this fall is to learn how to crochet and I like the projects in this book.

  1248. Victoria Prisco / September 26, 2013

I’m an art therapist and work with adults who have mental health and addiction disorders. We do a lot of knit/crocheting in our program.
I believe that the Hearth & Home book has a lot of lovely designs that the women can use to make their homes / shelter rooms / transitional housing places a lot warmer then what they have.
We would love to win a copy of that book!

  1249. Angela Menzies / September 26, 2013

    City Tweed!

  1250. Juli / September 26, 2013

No question, my favorite is the 2013 City Tweed Collection. I adore the shawl and must make it!

I like the Reclaimed Collection the best, so many great items to knit.

  1281. Karen Ewert / September 26, 2013

  1290. Isabelle / September 26, 2013

    I adore “First Light!”

  1291. Joan Matlack / September 26, 2013

    Reclaimed Autumn 2013.

  1292. Myra L. / September 26, 2013

I adore First Light. Not only are the patterns themselves gorgeous, but they are light and airy pieces meant for layering, which means this warm-natured girl stuck in the Southwest could actually wear her knits instead of giving them away to Northern family! 🙂

  1293. Kim Schweinberg / September 26, 2013

Rocky Shores.. I love just about everything in there and the tweeds I could use..WOW ! LOVE ARAN KNITTING !

They would look great with cottage
    decor.

  1308. Amber / September 26, 2013

I just received my very own copy of Illuminated Lines late last week. I adore the projects in that book, and plan on making all of them…but they’ve all been planned as gifts for others!
For myself, I’ve wish-listed (& been drooling daily over) Hearth & Home. I really, desperately desire Hearth & Home, because I just divorced & had to move back to Ohio from California. Things have been tight & difficult. But I see the beautiful & uplifting patterns in Hearth & Home & imagine them brightening up my little space.
I’ve had to move into an old and small apartment, but have been working hard with my minuscule budget to brighten it up bit by bit. I can just picture the gorgeous nature inspired accessories bringing the feeling of the California outdoors into my little Ohio home.
I hope to be able to purchase my own copy of Hearth & Home soon…I really need a little sunshine!
Thanks for all your hard work, & bringing these great products to all of us knitting addicts!

  1309. Julie / September 26, 2013

Hard to choose, but Sunset Over the Cascades and the Capra Collection might be my favorites.

  1310. Gina Z / September 26, 2013

    Illuminated Lines

  1311. Katherine Madigan / September 26, 2013

I love “Illuminated Lines!” But I think that “American Prairie” is really wonderful too… I’ve dreamed of owning these books for a while now. I just haven’t allowed myself the luxury of buying a new knitting book recently. Someday soon…

  1312. Jennifer Carberry / September 26, 2013

I LOVE Illuminated Lines! My breath stopped when I discovered it in my mailbox and I still have that catalog so I can remember to buy it. I instantly added the patterns to my queue. Being a “Celtic” family (hubby is Irish and I’m Scots) each pattern resonated with me

  1313. Kate / September 26, 2013

It’s a toss-up, but I am most drawn to the patterns in the City Tweed 2013 Collection. So many versatile, classic designs!

  1314. Dorrie / September 26, 2013

I like the looks of Hearth & Home.

  1315. Dayoan Rivera / September 26, 2013

It was a difficult decision. Just about all of the booklets had some alluring feature. However, I was most drawn to Illuminated Lines. I really like the intricate use of colors and textures. I also like how wearable/useful each pattern seems.

  1316. Hope / September 26, 2013

I have had my eye on Windswept and Light Basics and now the City Tweed Collection. If I had to choose, Windswept would be my 1st choice. I own Rocky Shores and Northern Lights and just love them. I really love sweater collections! So at the very least, keep up the great sweater pattern collections 🙂

  1317. Claudine Olin / September 26, 2013

I absolutely love the “First Light: Spring 2013 Pattern Collection.”
    Thanks

  1321. Tia / September 26, 2013

Hard to choose! I do love the Serenity Crochet collection with its great, flattering designs–plus it’s crochet, what’s not to like?
Runners up would be the Geometric Pattern collection for its lovely integration of shapes, and the Hearth and Home collection which is gorgeous–and usually I’m only interested in knitting up clothes and accessories.

  1322. Bobbi / September 26, 2013

It’s a hard decision to pick just one favorite. I’d have to say the Capra collection is probably my favorite.

  1323. Tina / September 26, 2013

Well, I am a knitting newbie, so I love the Serenity crochet patterns~but the Ballerinas is to aspire to!!

  1324. Deborah Herman / September 26, 2013

I have The American Prairie and enjoyed making the sweater. I can’t wait to try my hand at Between the Trees and Windswept. I would love to win these.

My favorite is “Urban Texture” with “Sunset Over the Cascades” in a close second.

  1326. Amy Stanton / September 26, 2013

I love 20th Century Graphics. However, Dendrochronolgy in Capra totally caught my eye when it was posted on Ravelry.

  1327. Holly / September 26, 2013

I love the Sunset Over the Cascades collection! I haven’t made any of them, but now that I’ve seen them, I’ve been bitten by the shawl bug.

  1328. Jennifer Gaddes / September 26, 2013

I own none of these books, but am especially intrigued by the Capra collection… cashmere sounds so soft!

  1329. heather / September 26, 2013

I LOVE the classic style of City Tweed! So gorgeous.

  1330. Mrs. B / September 26, 2013

I think I would choose the Reclaimed Fall collection. A tough choice though.

  1331. Jacki / September 26, 2013

Hard to choose – changes by day. Today, Capra!

  1332. Jamie / September 26, 2013

I love the patterns that can be found in Reclaimed. They include patterns that would fit all my two sisters’, my mom’s and my style. They are such gorgeous edgy sweaters, and some very classic items as well.

  1333. Elizabeth Santa / September 26, 2013

    I love the Capra collection

  1334. Kathleen King / September 26, 2013

I love Hearth and Home. There are a few pieces in that one that I’d love to make.

  1335. Janice Farr / September 26, 2013

I like Hearth and Home best I think. I like the special touch knits for my home and would really like to make the dandelion runner. This would be perfect in my kitchen as a nice focal accent piece. Thanks!

  1336. Jessica M. / September 26, 2013

I always enjoy looking at all of the collections, however I think my favorite is “Study Hall Knits.” From the moment I first saw the patterns in it I loved it. Perhaps it is because the items are so classic and fun without being fussy or maybe it’s because I have such a love of school :). Either way I love it.

  1337. Jessica / September 26, 2013

I like Twentieth Century Graphic — Ann Weaver is one of my favorite designers!

  1338. J Baker / September 26, 2013

I made the blazer in Rocky Shores. It’s a beautiful, fun and challenging pattern. Great collection!

  1344. Evelyn / September 26, 2013

I hardly have any tweedy garments in my wardrobe but I’d love to remedy that ~ I’d love to knit everything in City Tweeds!

  1345. Joyce Dudzinski / September 26, 2013

City Tweed is number one in my book. With fall around the corner, selecting a pattern and the many colors of city tweed yarn with its slubs would be difficult, but anything made would be very chic and so soft.

  1346. Jenn Hobbs / September 26, 2013

I love first light! So many great designs I think I’d have to make each one!

  1347. Josee / September 26, 2013

As much as I really like all of the collections, Hearth and Home is my favorite. They’re all great so it’s hard to have only one favorite!

  1348. Mary Ann Fitzgibbon / September 26, 2013

My pick is for Hearth and Home, love making afghans for the family and using different patterns, as a left hand knitter half the fun is figuring out how to knit the patterns.

  1349. Fariba Deravi / September 26, 2013

Love Capra, colors Caviar and Platinum..

  1350. Fariba Deravi / September 26, 2013

The Capra and Hearth & Home are just fantastic. Very difficult for someone as indecisive as me to pick just one!!!

  1352. Christiane / September 26, 2013

I think that the ”Hearth and Home” book would be well used by the time I had been through it.
But then, we are used to quality products, great patterns and super ideas from KP.
Keep on doing what you do best, to our great delight…

  1353. Patricia Hutchison / September 26, 2013

Of course I love more than one – Cable Embrace from the Reclaimed Collection, any of the shawls and shawlettes from Sunset Over the Cascades, but the one that I must knit (and wear!) is the Chickadee Pullover from the City Tweed collection. I love the pattern, the shape, and even the color as shown! Yummy.

  1412. Denise White / September 26, 2013

I love Northern Lights. I recently moved from Arizona to Seattle and the nordic- inspired patterns along with the color combinations would fit right in to my new home. I’m just learning colorwork and this booklet might be a little advanced for me right now but I’m up for a challenge.

    I love Capra!

  1453. Angel Fulwider / September 26, 2013

Oh my goodness Capra! Those designs are just beautiful.

  1455. Brooke / September 26, 2013

I love the patterns in the Serenity Crochet Patterns Collection! I’m still learning how to knit, so I love to see beautiful classic patterns for crochet, which I have a lot more experience with. The other patterns look gorgeous, and are certainly providing incentives to pick up my knitting again.

  1456. Charlene Cain / September 26, 2013

Oh dear me- how couod I decide on just one! Knitting bgy nature calls to me loudly though! As does Hearth and Home. But they are all so beautiful! The work on these is extraordinary! As much like a coffee table book as a pattern book! Photography is superbe!

  1475. Reb / September 26, 2013

  1480. Yoshimi / September 26, 2013

The Capra 2013 collection for the best combination of useful, elegant & detailed. City Tweed, Twentieth Century Graphic & Wool of the Andes are tough competitors, though!

  1481. adair / September 26, 2013

The Reclaimed collection hits a lot of chords for me.

  1482. Jan / September 26, 2013

Everything in Illuminated Lines is gorgeous, but the Junonia Skirt in Windswept captured me the first time I saw it. Add in the other subtly lacy, feminine designs and Windswept would have to be my choice.

  1483. Ashley / September 26, 2013

  1500. Joyce / September 26, 2013

  1501. Robin Allen / September 26, 2013

Yes, the pattern books themselves are beautiful. And I can see that aesthetic working its way into the catalog.

I love cables and colorwork and WoTA, so Wool of the Andes.

  1502. JJ / September 26, 2013

Only one? They all have spectacular projects I want to make, but if I can only choose one it would definitely be Sunset Over the Cascades. The designs are beautiful, the colors are bright, the designer is one of my favorites. I’ve already made one of them and it probably won’t be my last.

I really like the City Tweed 2013 Collection. The designs are classic.

  1508. April / September 26, 2013

I love the Capra collection – who could resist that striped pullover with that great Audrey Hepburn-like collar? And done in Capra? Dare to resist!

  1509. Debbie Giordano / September 26, 2013

    Illuminated Lines – absolutely gorgeous!!

  1510. Cherie / September 26, 2013
