KP Collections giveaway!

So, how do you like our lovely KP collections?

collections

It has been so exciting working on these – I spent 10 years working in a bookstore and I still have a great love of flipping through books. I personally think ours are just so beautiful – the designs, the photography, the layout – everything about them just makes me so proud to be a part of them.

It has been fun coming up with the ideas for new books and seeing all the wonderful projects we receive from the designers, as well as the fantastic ideas that Kerin comes up with for her own books.

So which is your favorite?

We want to know – and we have a great giveaway for you too!  Check out all of our collections here and tell us which one is your favorite (whether you own it or not).  On Monday September 30, I’ll choose one grand prize winner – who will win 5 titles of any of the KP Collections books (their choice!).  I’ll also choose 3 runners up, each of which who will one 1 copy of any of our KP Collections.  Good Luck all!

Rules: One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address. No purchase necessary. All comments must be posted on THIS blog post. Comments on other blog posts or on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Ravelry, etc.) will not be valid for this contest. We will close the comments at 7am PST September 30 and randomly select the winners then!

As a note, don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away – because of not-very-nice spammers that slip through our filters, we need to approve each comment.  So there might be delay, especially over the weekend – but don’t worry, we’ll get your entry!

Giveaway is now over – we’ll announce the winners soon!

  1. I would love to own the Hearth and Home Collection. So many in there that I want to make.

  2. It’s hard to choose my favorite. So many of the designs are so lovely. I love the Illuminated Lines and the Hearth & Home.

  3. I have spent too much time looking at the different patterns because I can not decide which one I like the best. But, I did knit the Chickadee Pullover and was not thrilled with this sweater. It fits nice and even looks nice. But, just a little too boring. This is not going to stop me from trying many, many other patterns. Keep up the postings, love them.

  4. My favourite has to be Ann Weaver’s Twentieth Century Graphic. I just adore her aesthetic and her patterns are always so interesting and well-written.

  5. While I covet a number of your collections, your Between The Trees collection has a number I’d love to try right now!

  6. I love the cryptozoology book. My kids love animals and would love a handmade one especially.

  7. I absolutely love knitpicks pattern collections, and would be ecstatic to receive one. My favorite is the Hearth and Home. It is amazing! Keep them coming guys!

  8. I love the patterns in First Light. They so suit both my daughter and myself.

  9. What a VERY difficult choice!!!!

I really love the Fern Throw!!! So I must choose “Hearth and Home Collection”.

Thanks for hosting contests! Really fun!

  10. The KP Light Basic Collection is one of my faves. I like simple things and these pieces are classic :-)

  11. I really like the Reversible Basics…the designs are simple , looks like you can dress up or down. Same goes for the Light Basics. So many beautiful designs , but so little time and needles. :)

  12. I love all the collections and it is really hard to pick one favorite one! Though I can see knitting away my nights from Capra selection(and hearth and home too)!

  13. Capra! The Dianthe sweater haunts my daydreams… but I’ve really liked what I’ve seen of Home and hearth, too!

  14. I’ve always been a sucker for the Cryptozoology collection, but the new Capra collection has stolen my heart!

  15. In Tune, although I also really like Reclaimed and Capra. But the In Tune patterns are very original yet wearable and not weird. Looks like some of them use rather challenging cables, but the end result would be worth the trouble.

  16. I love the Capra collection, especially the cardigan on the front. I have a slightly shorter neck than most, so the lower profile neckline is hard to find and perfect for me.

  17. My favorite would have to be the Hearth and Home Collection. I love knitting things for, not only my home but for other peoples homes as well!

  18. i have LOVED the First Light collection since it came out. they all seem so feminine & flattering. thank you for this generous offer!

    • The Capra Collection are my best pick and for the home, the Hearth and Home Collection. There are so many nice patterns it is very difficult to narrow down the choices.

  19. My absolute favorite is “Illuminated Lines” My next two favorites are “Rocky Shore” & “American Prairie.” I also liked “Wool of the Andes” and “Uptown Chic.” Unfortunately, when selecting “High Desert Collection,” I get “Tumble Weed Vest” instead, so I don’t know what that collection looks like.

  20. I agree too! I love the idea of opening a book and checking out patterns and creating the “story” of the piece in my head. I have never owned any KP collection books….just perused a ton of them ;-) Personal favorites are in the Capra collection. I definitely am eyeing a purchase of that lovely sea green shawl! :)

  21. I very much admire the First Light book and see several patterns that tempt me. Thank you for the opportunity to win books!

  22. Beautiful collections…so hard to pick a favorite! right now the first autumn breeze is finally here and I think I need a capra cardigan from the Capra collection!

  23. Ballerinas In Pink would be at the top of the list if I have to have only one favorite. If you change that to which are your favorites, then First Light and Sunset Over the Cascades are both running a VERY close second.

  24. I have to say, the Geometric Pattern Collection is amazing– that Shaded Pullover is STUNNING!
