KP Collections giveaway!

So, how do you like our lovely KP collections?

It has been so exciting working on these – I spent 10 years working in a bookstore and I still have a great love of flipping through books. I personally think ours are just so beautiful – the designs, the photography, the layout – everything about them just makes me so proud to be a part of them.

It has been fun coming up with the ideas for new books and seeing all the wonderful projects we receive from the designers, as well as the fantastic ideas that Kerin comes up with for her own books.

So which is your favorite?

We want to know – and we have a great giveaway for you too!  Check out all of our collections here and tell us which one is your favorite (whether you own it or not).  On Monday September 30, I’ll choose one grand prize winner – who will win 5 titles of any of the KP Collections books (their choice!).  I’ll also choose 3 runners up, each of which who will one 1 copy of any of our KP Collections.  Good Luck all!

Rules: One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address. No purchase necessary. All comments must be posted on THIS blog post. Comments on other blog posts or on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, G+, Ravelry, etc.) will not be valid for this contest. We will close the comments at 7am PST September 30 and randomly select the winners then!

As a note, don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away – because of not-very-nice spammers that slip through our filters, we need to approve each comment.  So there might be delay, especially over the weekend – but don’t worry, we’ll get your entry!

Giveaway is now over – we’ll announce the winners soon!

  1. Wow! There are so many fabulous designs. I’m going to have to go with Reclaimed as my favorite though.

  2. I would love to win the books , I would like the american praire, I want to learn to make sweaters, I am a country girl

  3. I have the Illuminated Lines book and am waiting anxiously to start one of the projects. I know it will test and hopefully, improve my skills.

  4. I really like the City Tween collection, but that cardigan on the cover of the Capra collection – gorgeous. Makes me wish my knitting skills were better!

  5. Today my favorite is American Prairie, but yesterday it was Northern Lights and First Light. No doubt tomorrow it will be something else…

  6. I think the City Tweed collection is my favorite. But I really like the Geometric collection and the Basic Reversibles as well.

  7. I love several of them and would be ecstatic to be able to choose a new one. First Light has several patterns I’d love to make for my 19-year-old daughter and myself, so I’ll name that as my favorite….for now!

  8. Well, I have to say Sunset Over the Cascades is my favorite! I also love that this is the view from my front porch!

  9. Light Basics are perfect patterns for me as I gain new skills towards my goal of knitting a fabulous sweater.

  10. I would choose the Reclaimed & Light Basics. They’re all wonderful, so it was a hard choice

  11. My favorite is the Illuminated Lines collection, as Celtic motifs have a certain magic to them. The patterns featured in this collection look like fun both to knit and to wear!

  12. As always, picking a favorite from any KnitPicks collection is difficult. I like the City Tweed collection and the Capra Collection. Any of the patterns would be welcome on any to-do list.

  13. I love crochet. The Serenity Crochet Pattern Collection looks like a book that I could choose several of the patterns to crochet as gifts.

  14. I love First Light. It’s one of the few pattern collections where I love every one of them! I already have yarn to make the Kelso sweater.

  15. I only own “Light Basics,” but “Rocky Shores” has been on my wish list for a while, and I really like “Home & Hearth.” Kerin is such an amazing designer! I enjoy her video tutorials, too. Will the 40% off sale still be going on after the drawing so I can buy some if I don’t win?!

  16. What a beautiful collection of books! A great variety. The Black Oak Jacket in “American Prairie” looks like a jacket I would wear. Would love to make it.

  17. Seems I already have several–but my mostest favorite is Cryptozoology. You just can’t beat knitting with a sense of humor. I need to get started knitting those yeti slippers for my bigfooted son for Christmas (and dream of some of those cardigan patterns I have stocked up on already!)

  18. I love several Knit Picks collection books, but my favorite is ‘Rocky Shores’. Would love to make everything in that book!

  19. They are all beautiful, it’s hard to pick just one! I really like Illuminated Lines, but I have Winsome Knits and Hearth and Home are also on my wish list.

  20. I just adore the ‘Between the Trees’ collection! but I haven’t bought it yet… 40% off- right now is the time, right!

  21. I love the serenity crochet pattern collection. There are not many amazing crochet books out there but knit picks consistently hit it dead on. I love knit picks!

  22. You guys sure don’t make it easy to pick just one! But I think I have to go with Urban Texture. Pretty and cool through and through.
