A Year of Keeping Home

All through 2016 we offered a new free 3-pattern set each month, featuring your favorite independent designers. Everything from fun kitchen projects to patterns for your bathroom. Now we’re collected them all in one convenient spot – check out the Keeping Home collection!

Available as a book or eBook, this handy collection will inspire you to update your space with some fun. Each 3-pattern set contains a dishcloth or washcloth that coordinate with the other pieces. Whether you knit or crochet, there are some super fun projects to get started on this spring.

As the coordinator of the collection, I, of course, have a few favorites! First up, Joyce Fassbender’s Breakfast of Champions.

There were squeals of delight throughout the office when this adorable set showed up. With a sunny-side up place-mat, a toast napkin and an orange slice cup cozy, this set was made for breakfast lovers! Knit in Shine Sport, this would also be an adorable set for a fun breakfast with kiddos, with its bright colors and cute shapes.

Also for the kitchen, the Ombre Sea Kitchen Set by Kalurah Hudson is perfect for a bit of spring cleaning.

Using a simple linen stitch and soft colors, this set was made for any kitchen. I really love the apron – especially with the little pocket lined in a contrasting color. It’s knit in Comfy Worsted which makes it soft and pretty but it’d be easy to substitute Dishie if you prefer it for kitchen projects.

If you’re in the mood to update your bathroom, you can’t go wrong with the Bit of Whimsy Bath Set by Emily Ringelman.

Both a perfect project for practicing new stitches as well as adding a bit of cuteness to your bathroom, this set will bring a smile to your face. Knit in Shine Sport in sweet spring colors, it’s exactly what you’ll want to greet the warmer days on the way.

These 3 sets are only the tip of the iceberg – all 12 of these patterns will keep you inspired throughout the year. Each pattern will continue to be free to download by itself on the site and all together in the collection as a special low price. Get your copy today and have some fun!
