From our resident prolific knitter/crocheter, brand director extraordinaire Hannah, comes this truly precious trio of handmade unicorns. Why? Within each of us resides a perpetual child of the 80’s, longing to trip the life nostalgic. And also because UNICORNS!
The Nilla the Unicorn pattern is from Ravelry and the yarn used was Comfy Worsted in colors Silver Sage, Ivory, Whisker, and White (with additional details in Semolina, Sea Foam, and Flamingo).
Hillary’s feet are always cold at home, so when the opportunity to use our special reserve Swish Speckle for a pair of house slippers presented itself, she took it! These super comfy & extra cozy slipper socks were crocheted in worsted weight Swish Speckle (currently unavailable), but would look rad in any bright solid color of Swish! To keep from Risky Business-ing across her floors, she added some suede slipper bottoms like these to help give a little traction.
Note: The pattern for these slipper socks came with the suede bottoms that she used, which we no longer carry. I know, I know. Don’t be mad at us!
In true innovative designer style, Lee went rogue and held both Hawthorne and Stroll sock yarns double (gasp!) in this super fun Mako Cowl.
For the wee ones – the teeniest, tiniest Mini Meow Sweater, knit in Snuggle Puff colors Bunny and Lamb, courtesy of Hannah.
Lee fell so in love with Muse that she grabbed one skein of each of her favorite colorways and made this Gaugeless Cardigan. Colors used, in order from top to bottom, are: Elation, Impulse, Vitalize, Whimsy, Delight (Tonal), Inspired, Rooted (Tonal), Untamed, and Savvy (Tonal).
Spoiler Alert!
Last, but definitely not least, this pair of socks (made using our sock pattern) was knit in one of our brand new Hawthorne colors that comes out later this week!!! This moody, smoky plum colorway is Lents (insert ALL the heart eye emojis here). Check back later in the week when we’ll reveal the other 10 new hand-painted colors on the site!
