Spring Color Palettes

Spring is knocking on our door! The warmer weather and colors that are starting to sprout have me itching to reach for some lighter knitting. I hope these palettes will inspire you to cast on a new project!

Cherry Blossoms

This image of cherry blossoms has perfect hazy early morning colors mixed with pops of jewel tones. Our soft and warm Alpaca fiber yarn, Alpaca Cloud, is perfect for shawls and light Spring accessories. Match the gorgeous cherry blossoms with Alpaca Cloud in Charlotte, Anna, Algernon, and Bennet.

Tulip Blooms

These bright blooms are the epitome of springtime excitement. Bold greens paired with pops of bright pinks, orange, and yellows get me excited for warm walks at the weekend farmer’s market. I love seeing the buckets of blooms for sale amid the quiet hustle of people doing their weekly shopping. Our classic sock yarn Stroll in tonal colors is perfect for realizing this palette because it is subtle but adds interest with shifting colors. I would love to make a shawl inspired by this fun, energetic color palette. Match these tulips with Stroll Tonal in Mountain Pass, High Tea, Poppy Field, and Seashell.

Easter Eggs

There is nothing cuter than a teeny tiny egg with pastel colors and the dantiest of freckles. Subtle Easter hues paired together instantly remind me of cool Spring mornings. Cotlin is perfect for lightweight Spring knitting. Use it to make cool knits for warmer days. The cotton and linen blend results in a durable, soft yarn that breathes and has a gorgeous drape. Match these tiny eggs with Cotlin in Flamingo, Sagebrush, Clarity, and Crème Brûlée.

Sweet Purple

I love the smell of warm spring evenings, when there is a subtle breeze flowing through wildflowers. I can almost smell the sweet blooms of these gorgeous purple flowers. Our pretty Capretta yarn is great for knitting superwash socks, lightweight cardigans, and soft scarves. The Cashmere adds a touch of elegance and the Fine Merino Wool is like a being wrapped in a warm breeze. Match these fragrant flowers with Capretta Superwash in Magnolia Heather, Loganberry Heather, Adriatic Heather, Hemlock Heather, and Tansy Heather.
