The usually misty Pacific Northwest has been hit with a heat wave this last week, which is showing no sign of letting up. To deal with the unexpected dose of sunshine, a sherbet-inspired dish cloth was in order. The yummy colors Dishie cotton colors are like a delicious scoop of ice cream, and the Tunisian stitch gives it a cheerful, waffle-like texture (not to belabor the ice cream analogy – but waffle cone, anyone?).
This was my first attempt at Tunisian crochet, and after a few rows, it was a breeze! I adore the firm, fabric-like texture it achieves. Try it for yourself- here’s the free dishcloth pattern.
And since ice cream should come in ALL flavors, here is some more Dishie color palette inspiration!
