I love this pattern! Beth promises that it is easy to memorize and she is not kidding. It’s a progression across sixteen stitches. Sixteen stitches that fit nicely on each of my four DPNs. 

The Nutkin was originally designed to show off subtly striped colorways. But, I don’t have any of those so I opted for Gloss in Robot! I think it is turning out to be a very elegant look. It also helps that I chose a light color. The lightest color I had in my stash. Other options could be Seaspray, Guava or Honey.

The Socks of Doom competition on Ravelry is still open for participants. I’m helping James pair up knitters. It may take a couple of days to get everyone paired up but since you are only competing against each other, there isn’t a time factor. Of course, once each person in the pair has been notified the match begins!
