Holla Knits – Crochet!

Since we’ve been on a crochet kick here (especially with our new yarn and new collection), it’s only fitting that the newest Holla Knits release is all about crochet as well!

This collection, like the Holla Knits‘ previous ones, contains 6 fun and fashionable patterns featuring up & coming indie designers.  Each pattern is knit in two different yarns and we are delighted that there are 4 patterns in Knit Picks yarns!

I got a bit of sneak peek at some of the designs when I attended TNNA (The National NeedleArts Association) last month. I finally got to meet Allyson in person and she showed me her Cute Girl Squares Tank!

I love making granny squares and this is a fun option for them – a nice oversized tank to wear out & about.  While I love the colorful version, the solid one is great as well – and Gloss DK has such a lovely color palette, you can really create some great versions.

Also at TNNA, I got to meet up with Rohn Strong for the first time.  You might remember Rohn from his fantastic collection from last year – The Heritage Collection: WWI & WWII.  I was so delighted to meet him and to see his newest design – Betty…Betty Grable, a nice lightweight vest that’s perfect for chilly summer nights over a tank top.

Another great pattern is Deco Daisies by Michelle Moskaluh – a long, airy cowl with a fun flower pattern all over it.  I recently decided that I love crocheting cowls more than knitting them and this looks like a great pattern to expand my skills

Also included is Prim by Ann Leachman – a cute little collar – perfect for dressing up an old top for a new look!

You can get these 4 patterns by themselves (click on the photo to bring you directly to the pattern page) or you can get the full eBook for just $14.00 – which includes 2 additional patterns! Have fun!
