Free Washcloth Pattern – Simple Eyelet

Welcome to Week 17 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! The name of our pattern this week perfectly describes this pretty little project – check out the Simple Eyelet Washcloth.

Free Simple Eyelet Washcloth Pattern from

Kendra Nitta’s pattern features a stitch patterns made up of simple decreases and yarn overs to create a sweet project that is sure to brighten any washroom. While Lindy Chain isn’t recommended for something that is going to get a lot of punishing use (such as a kitchen dishcloth) because of the delicate make up of the yarn, it does make a lovely washcloth. The softness from the Pima cotton and linen will feel wonderful for a gentle cleansing – or use it more as a decorative piece for your bathroom. Since the yarn is a fingering weight held double, this makes it easy to substitute a heavier weight yarn such a Dishie for a more rugged dishcloth too.
