“Rules equal boredom, and I don’t like that.” – Simon Cowell
In most cases, knitting (or crocheting) a dishcloth tends to be the same basic constructions – working back and forth in a square. If you are looking to change up your dishcloth game, the newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub club is the perfect project – check out the free Small Tiles Dishcloth pattern.
Designed by Courtney Spainhower, this dishcloth is 4 mitered squares worked in one piece. Starting with one square, the others are created by picking up stitches along one edge and casting on the rest – which means there is not any seaming involved. It ends with an icord bind off for a clean edge and a hanging loop. Knit in our lovely CotLin, this pattern is extremely addicting, and you’ll find yourself wanting to make several in a rainbow of colors!
