Free Scrubby Stripes Dishcloth

I find myself dreaming of doing normal things – like staying home and washing dishes.” – Shalom Harlow

Even in the age of dishwashers, there’s something soothing about washing dishes by hand. With a handknit dishcloth, it’ll even be better. This week, our new Scub-A-Dub Club free pattern is the sweet Scruby Stripes Dishcloth.

Designed by Courtney Spainhower, this square is worked in one piece from corner to corner using Mosaic Garter stitch stripes to create a thick, highly textured fabric that looks great on both sides of the project. Completing the look is an I-cord edging that ends in a hook to hang your dishcloth to dry. Knit in CotLin, you’ll love working on this project as much as using it.

Be sure to download this lovely pattern at the links below – and check back here each week to see the club pattern.

Thanks so much. I’ve been wanting to try mosaic and I’m always trying to sneak a small knitted gift past my sister, who won’t accept anything at all expensive. This will be perfect!
