Free Dragonfly Delight Dishcloth

This dragonfly came up to me. He was hovering right in front of my face, and I was really examining him, thinking, How does he see me? I became enlightened.” – Ziggy Marley

I love dragonflies – I don’t often spot them around here but I get really excited when I see them flying around my garden. So I was particularly excited for the newest free crochet pattern in our Scrub-A-Dub Club – check out the beautiful Dragonfly Delight Dishcloth.

As a beginner to intermeidate crocheter, I had never seen this sweet stitch before. Designed by the wonderful Jennifer Pionk, a cluster of dragonflies swirl around the body of simple double crochet. A simple edging in a contrast color finishes the project and gives it a nice polished look. Using the mountain of Dishie I have in my stash, I’m planning on busting out a few of these this spring!

First I loved the quotation, then I loved the pattern. Now I’ll have to learn to crochet! Or else figure out how to translate this to knitting…but thank you for it all!
