“Daisies are like sunshine to the ground.” – Drew Barrymore
As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers! Flowers are in serious bloom here in the Pacific Northwest and one of my favorites is the sweet daisy. Best of all, the newest free pattern in our Scrub-A-Dub Club features the cute flower – Daisies Dishcloth.
Designed by lovely Violet LeBeaux, this project is perfect for those wanting to try their hand at stranded colorwork. While most of it is simply stockinette with a garter stitch border, there is a cute row of daisies along the top and bottom. As the colorwork chart is only over 5 rows each, this is perfect for beginners. Knit it up in Dishie, as we have or try it in Comfy for soft touch – either way, you’ll have a perfect project to celebrate spring!
