This week our Freebie Friday pattern is a beautiful lace cowl!
The pattern is Drawstring Lace Cowl by SweaterBabe – a designer with so many gorgeous patterns! And this one is no different.
It’s knit completely in the round with pretty lace panels and a garter stitch border on the top & bottom. And best of all – pom-poms!
The pom-poms are optional but why would you leave them off? They are on a drawstring so you can adjust the fit of your cowl. And they are cute!
SweaterBabe has been part of the IDP program since the beginning & her patterns are some of my favorites. I’ve made a couple of them (I knit her Knitty pattern Talia for my mom this past Christmas in fact!) and her patterns instructions are very in-depth & clear. This one, her Cables and Flowers Top Down Caridgan, is one of my favorites.
Isn’t that gorgeous? I have some beautiful Full Circle in Tomatillo that’s just begging to be worked up into something like this.
