Craft in Public Contest!

The World Wide Knit in Public Week is coming up in just a month!  While we knit (and crochet and spin) in public all the time, we thought we’d celebrate our crafting with a fun contest!

We want to see our friends crafting in public so film a 15-30 second video of you or your friends doing your favorite craft in public – knitting while waiting for the bus, crocheting at a sporting a event, spinning in the park – be creative! Upload it to youtube, instagram or vine and share the link on our official contest page – Craft in Public Contest.  You can enter the contest until May 27th at 8am, then everyone will have a week to vote on their favorite video.  The winner will receive a fun pack of yarn & accessories to continue to spread the word of crafting!

This contest is being held through our Facebook page but don’t worry if you do not have a Facebook account- you can enter right here!  Just leave a comment below with a link to your video.  The entries will still be a part of of the gallery on the Facebook page and may be linked to from other social media sites.

Have fun & get crafting!

One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address to be eligible for the prize. No purchase necessary. Videos shared here must be property of the submitter and may be shared on Knit Picks social media sites and may be used in other promotions with permission. Videos can be shared here until 8am PST May 27th, then voting will begin and last until 8am PST June 3rd
