Spending time with family for the holidays is always nice, but I have to admit I’m usually most excited for the food. Seems to me most everyone on the KP team feels similarly. I asked everyone what their favorite holiday meals and drinks were, and they had a LOT to say. |

You know that one friend of yours that is obnoxiously pro-Christmas? That starts listening to holiday tunes in September (ok, ok ... in August), regales their cubicle with all manner of tinsel and twinkling lights, and won't stop droning on about how it's the most wooooonderful time of the year? Hi, meet me! I am unabashedly festive in my heart all year long, which means the release of our Merry Knitmas holiday pattern collection fills me with yuletide joy. |

From now on, everyone in my life will receive thoughtfully planned, lovingly created, unique handmade treasures!” Then your first Christmas happens. Realizing that you cannot, in fact, make all of your gifts by hand (short of quitting your job and your wrists falling off), you scale back your expectations. Among the greatest blessings in my life (along with pre-cooked sausages and Amazon Prime), I count knitting and crocheting at the very top. The joy, fulfillment and unwinding (pun intended) they have brought into my life are beyond measure. Though my crafting journey has been marked with many tears (I still get PTSD when I drop a stitch), I am eternally grateful to my patient coworkers for starting me on this lifelong adventure. My very first crochet project was a cowl in our super soft Billow cotton yarn. Despite the shockingly uneven stitches, I don't think there was a prouder gal that cold winter day of 2012. |

From the pattern designers that turn our fiber into amazing projects for us to knit, to the crafters who create beautiful items with those designs, my breath is taken away daily. Since Halloween is just around the corner, I've rounded up a handful of my favorite Halloween knitting projects featuring Knit Picks yarns. Halloween Knitting Projects: Little Monster Vest |
