I've been doing a lot of traveling this summer and have been looking forward to times when I can relax for a bit. So for my newest 52 Weeks of Dishcloth pattern, I decided I wanted to do a spa cloth to use when I have a little time to myself. So I came up with the Dreamy Spa Cloth. |

It's so satisfying to be able to knit something up in an afternoon and be able to use it right away to get another chore done! A quick garter stitch edging is followed by a tall slip stitch pattern for extra scrubbing power, perfect for tackling difficult dishes or for deep exfoliation |

I love combining unique stripes and textures with bold colors. And the Ebb + Flow Dishcloth allowed me to do both beautifully! This easy to memorize dishcloth crochet pattern is wonderful for a quick weekend project. It combines single crochet with intervals of crossed double crochet stitches to create a contracting and expanding effect. |

The usually misty Pacific Northwest has been hit with a heat wave this last week, which is showing no sign of letting up. To deal with the unexpected dose of sunshine, a sherbet-inspired dish cloth was in order. |

I love using textured stitches for dishcloths - it makes it so much easier to scrub those dishes. So when coming up with my newest pattern, I decided to with a fun zigzag look - a really easy & fun pattern! I used my usual garter for the border (it keeps it from curling!) and I just love how it turned out. |

If home is where the heart is, I guess home could also be where the dishcloth pattern inspiration is, because this week I looked no further than my wonderful family for this pattern! |

This is a simple washcloth (just single crochet all the way!) with a cute little cloud appliqued on at the end. You can make as many clouds as you'd like, same goes for the raindrops because they take so little yarn to make. Rain or shine, this dishcloth will get the job done, with extra points for cuteness! In my mind, it’s Spring and I’m preparing for a long camping season here in the Pacific Northwest. At the campsite, I sit by the fire, turning my foil-wrapped potato on a stick and stirring my pot of baked beans slowly, relaxing with my husband and kids. After dinner, I wash the pots and pans with homemade dishcloths inspired by my surroundings. |

A few months back, I was working on a crocheted hat as part of some charity knitting I was doing. I said to one of my friends, this hat needs something. That's when I learned how to do a ribbing in crochet. I love it! So when I went hunting for a pattern to use for this dishcloth, I ran into the basket weave pattern using the raised double crochet stitch that I used for the hat and thought perfect! I used Honeydew Dishie, which makes for a nice strong fabric. |
