Yesterday, after we rolled out our brand new and lovely Sunstruck needles, I saw a reverberating message throughout our social media channels: “Whelp! Found my (insert birthday/holiday/what-have-you) present!”. But why wait? What if you could win a full set of interchangeable Sunstruck needles?
If you’re anything like the KP staff, Pinterest is a daily fixture—always lurking just a browser tab away with impossible/romantic hairdos, recipes for mango salsa and a new pattern you’ve got to make this weekend. Now that the sun (and yes, also dear Sunstruck) has finally arrived to us in the Northwest, we’re feeling a nice mixture of joy and nostalgia. Because after all, despite all the extreme weather events, frizzy hair and desperate searches for an A/C oasis, summer is a pretty magical time, no?
With that in mind, we cordially invite you to enter our “Endless Summer” Pinterest contest. Won’t you play along and have some fun? Guaranteed to stir up your warmest memories, here’s how it works:
1. Follow Knit Picks on Pinterest. If you do not have a Pinterest account yet, it’s easy to set up. Right now, it’s invitation only, but just request an invite at http://pinterest.com and you’ll soon be pinning away.
2. Create a new board and title it “Endless Summer”, then repin this image to it: http://pinterest.com/pin/44332377552636212/. Do make sure you’re directly repinning from the original pin!
3. Complete the rest of your “Endless Summer” board with the 13 additional pins you see in the list below—numbered, but in no particular order. When your board is fantastically perfect and complete, leave a link to it in the comments section of this blog post.
