Read more »The 52-weeks of dishcloths is been a fun challenge for me. I hunted for the perfect stitch pattern to use in creating something different and fun. I’ve always thought that a dishcloth should have some texture for scrubbing; well I achieved that with the pleated stripes in the Triple Chocolate Dishcloth pattern.

Remember, Special Reserve means they’ll only be around while we have stock so grab some while you can! I snatched one ball of Pucker as soon as we opened the box of samples because it’s just SO BRIGHT and wonderful, there’s no way I could pass it up. I knew right away that I wanted to do a Color Affection shawl with a bright pop of color and the screaming pink was perfect for it.

The Final Four were so close – only had a handful of votes between the winner & loser in both battles. But, Wool of the Andes prevailed over Alpaca Cloud and Comfy had a hard won victory over Cotlin. Read more »Spring is HERE! Finally! The change in weather means I’ve been reaching for bright, cheery yarns. I’ve had a skein each of Cotlin Flamingo and Conch on my desk since we started this series of dishcloth patterns and I succumbed to their siren call for Peach Margot Dishcloth pattern. I LOVE how chipper they are together, especially in the Catherine Wheel stitch (one of my all time traditional favorites). This dishcloth reminds me of photos I’ve seen of flamingos in flight, all wings and necks.
