The “Craft to Give Back” Wrap-up!

Over the last two months, one of the first things I did upon waking up every morning was to eagerly check the Instagram hashtag #craft2giveback. Akin to watching the gift pile under the Christmas tree grow, I tallied with great joy the burgeoning number of handmade projects submitted to our campaign to raise money for the United Nations Refugee Agency.

I was absolutely blown away by your generosity. 1,791 projects were submitted to local charities – that’s thousands and thousands of hours of love!

Twelve Weeks of Gifting: Lampwork Hat + Mitts

Welcome to the ninth week in our Twelve Weeks of Gifting series of free patterns! This week we’re featuring the Lampwork Hat and Mittens pattern, the perfect coordinating accessories. The hats are worked with Wool of the Andes Worsted Yarn but they would be equally wonderful (and giftable!) in Swish Worsted! The fingerless mitts are worked in the lighter weight Wool of the Andes Sport Yarn, and are great to wear on their own, or layered over a pair of full-fingered mittens.
