Our Latest Yarn, New Collections, and More!

Get inspired by the multicolor masterpieces of Muse! This superwash Aran/heavy worsted weight Merino wool yarn is the first ever Knit Picks exclusive yarn crafted in Japan. And as you can see, the colors are truly stunning.

Meticulously hand dyed by Japanese artisans, each colorway of Muse Hand Painted only uses 3 basic colors, producing startling chromatic explosions with masterful color blending. Explore palettes ranging from barn door red to rich juicy olive, or every-colored yarn shifting from pops of magenta to deep vibrant teal and back again.

For our Muse Hand Painted Tonals, these same artisans apply colors by hand to achieve a range of tones in the same color–with bold, confident precision. For example, reds that sway from cherry to hot pink to juicy orange and back, or blues that can range from soft, distressed denim to bold, vibrant sapphire.

New Pattern Collections

Winter is hitting us hard here in the Pacific Northwest: our usual drizzle has recently amped up into full blown storms and snow days. To us, that means beautiful winter walks and lazy days spent inside. Which means no matter your speed–outdoor adventurer or movie marathoner–we have two great new collections to keep you cozy and warm this time of year!

Adventure Awaits

Whether you’re looking for a pair of extra-warm socks to wear on your next hiking trip or that perfectly snuggly pullover for late nights by the campfire, you’ll find it here.

The gorgeous Hurricane Ridge Pullover combines a relaxed silhouette and positive ease with a shawl collar and raglan shoulders to create a comfortable and classic garment just perfect staying warm this winter. Plus, the design is great for showing off the subtle Donegal neps in our Provincial Tweed!

Inspired by long, lazy weekends, Interlude is a beautiful collection featuring delicate, cozy knits to make a quiet weekend at home all the more enticing. The sixteen pieces in this collection invite you to snuggle up and get comfortable, with patterns for soft, feminine sweaters, muted, loose-fitting cardigans, and oh-so luxurious blankets and wraps.

The Aamu Sweater is a loose, slightly A-lined raglan long sweater worked seamlessly from the top down in the round, with a strand of Aloft and a strand of Cloud held together throughout. Garter stitch details add interest to cuffs, neckline, and the gradually widening wedges worked from the underarm.
