Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone
It’s not warm when she’s away
Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone
And she’s always gone too long
Anytime she goes away”
– Bill Withers
No matter if the sun is shining where you are or not (as it is in Pacific Northwest this week), you can brighten your kitchen anytime with the newest member of the Scrub-A-Dub – the free The Sun’s Out Dishcloth.
Designed by the wonderful Jennifer Pionk, this sweet dishcloth is a quick and easy project for any crocheter. Using single crochet through the back loops, the sun starts in the in middle and worked in continuous rounds so there isn’t any unsightly seams. A finishing touch of flames completes the look. Of course we had to use its namesake color of Dishie Multi for our version but this looks great in Dishie solids too, such as like Creme Brulee, Clementine and Fiesta Red, for a fun alternative. You’ll always have some sunshine in your life with this pattern!
