Welcome to Week 27 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! It’s July, the air is warm, the sun is shining, and my garden is growing! Included in my patch is a lovely row of sunflowers, which I love. So this week’s free pattern is perfect – check out the adorable Sunflower Dishcloth!
Allyson Dykhuizen does it again with her unique shaped dishcloths – why should they be simply a square or circle? Check out her other dishcloth patterns like Tulip, Cat Face, and Leaf for some other fun shapes. The Sunflower Dishcloth starts in the middle and worked out in garter stitch. Once complete, the stitches are held on the needle or waste yarn and each petal is worked separately – which means there is no seaming. This is a great pattern for adventurous beginners to start on and is sure to brighten any kitchen. Knit it up in our CotLin sunflower colors or simply change it to match your kitchen or hang on a wall. Once you knit one of these, you won’t be able to resist making a complete bouquet!
