Free Plum Lotus Dishcloth

Welcome to Week 45 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! There are only 7 more patterns left for 2017 – isn’t that hard to believe? Where did the year go! This week we have a charming pattern for you this week – the Plum Lotus Dishcloth.

Free Plum Lotus Dishcloth from knitpicks.com

Designed by Kalurah Hudson, this lovely piece begins with a seed stitch border and grows into a bouquet of beautiful lotus flowers. These are created with a simple mock cable, with some sweet bobbles for some extra texture. This pattern is a great way to practice your cable skills as well as chart reading skills – the pattern is both written out and charted so you can refer to either as you knit it. While this is called a dishcloth, we knit it knit in super soft Comfy Worsted and would be fantastic as a face or spa cloth. Pair with some pretty soap and you’ve got yourself a perfect hostess gift this holiday season.
