Welcome to Week 18 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! We’re all about kitty cats this week with the publication of our 9 Lives collection so it’s no surprise we just had to release this adorable Cat Face Dishcloth today!
This sweet free kitty dishcloth by Allyson Dykhuizen is for all the feline fans out there! Knit in the round from the inside out in an easy garter stitch pattern, the nose and whiskers are added with duplicate stitch. The ears are picked up along the edge and knit, with the inside also highlighted with duplicate stitch. While I’m partial to the black & white cat in our sample (since my kitty Rorschach is a tuxedo cat), this pattern can be made up in any number of combinations to match your own feline friend – good CotLin colors I’d recommend are Whisker (of course!), Coffee, Cashew, Wallaby, Ash and even Creme Brulee. Or go wild and knit up a bunch in bright colors to cheer your kitchen – whichever colors you choose, this fun pattern will always put a smile on your face as you knit it.
