Free Lacy Columns Facecloth

“Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it.” – Russell Baker

Happy Friday! The last few weeks of summer can mean two things to yarn crafters – it’s too hot to knit or crochet – or it’s time to get started on winter projects. If you are in the former group, wanting to be in the latter, the newest pattern in our Scrub-A-Dub Club might just be the exact thing you need – a nice easy project in cool cotton. Check out the Lacy Columns Facecloth.

This lovely project, designed by Faith Schmidt, is pretty little facecloth, using simple stitches to create columns of lace. Wonderful for your nightly cleaning ritual or for a thoughtful gift, this project is knit in our cotton/linen blend CotLin, which, if you haven’t had used it before, gets softer every time you use it. Perfect for jump starting your knitting if you’ve taken the hot summer off!
