Happy Friday! Do you love the look of cables but need to ease into that technique? The latest free pattern in our Scrub-A-Dub Club is a great way to start – check out the Garter Twist Dishcloth.
This project, designed by Faith Schmidt, is an good intro to twisting those stitches for cable-like look. Using a simple twist over two stitches every other row, this fun and quick knit is easy to memorize and makes a great dishcloth. As with most of Faith’s patterns, it is easy to resize it to fit your needs – for instance smaller for a coaster or larger for a hand towel. Since it uses Dishie, you have so many options for colors to match your decor – and don’t forget that Dishie Multi is an easy substitute!
