Free Dishcloth Pattern – Mixed Berry

Welcome to lucky Week 13 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! This week, we’re celebrating the upcoming berry season with the sweetest free pattern – check out the Mixed Berry Dishcloth!

Free Dishcloth Pattern - Mixed Berries Dishcloth from knitpicks.com

After months of cold weather, I’m looking forward to some warm days filled with fresh berries. This dishcloth uses 2 colors and a slip stitch pattern to create a fun all-over pattern of mouth-watering berries. Best of all, carrying the unused color up the sides creates a nice edge, as well as saving you from working in a million ends! We used Dishie Begonia and Mulberry for ours, but colors like Fiesta Red, Eggplant and Pomegranate would be great choices as well. Mixing a solid color with a wild Dishie Multi colorway would also create an extra colorful dishcloth. No matter the weather outside, this pattern will simply make you smile and dream of berry picking in the sunshine.

I’m pretty sure the pattern will not yield the dishcloth above. And 37 stitches for a 9 stitch chart…hmmm….

Hi Elizabeth. While the chart is 9 stitches, the pattern repeat is actually 4 stitches (the yellow box). so the 37 stitches is correct.
