Welcome to Week 23 of our Clean & Crafty Free Pattern series! This week, our free dishcloth pattern is the perfect project to practice your cabling skills – check out the Boysen Dishcloth.
This clever dishcloth by Joyce Fassbender is written out (no charts) and consist of a simple ribbing pattern with a twisty cable section every 4 rows. The result is a highly textured project that is completely reversible. Use this dishcloth to scrub those dishes or simply a display of your knitting prowess. If you are new to cables, this project is a great one to start with before moving on to larger projects (such as one from our amazing collection Woodsmoke!). We used CotLin in Linen for this project, but this project would look great in any color – or simply go up a needle size or 2 and use a heavier weight yarn such as Comfy for an extra soft project.
