Episode 363 – A Sock Knitting Round Table

We’re talking about all things sock related this week! To kick off the Sock Yarn Sale happening now, Knit Picks staff members Alena and Jen join hosts Lee and Stacey for a sock knitting round table discussion. Producer Andi plays the moderator and asks the hard hitting questions, like toe up or cuff down and how to care for socks. Everyone also shares their favorite sock yarn, on sale now, and their favorite pattern(s) from our latest sock collection, Pop Socks.

I enjoy listening to your podcast. I particularly liked the Knitting Roundtable. When you were discussing the Kitchner Stitch, I remembered listening to a Fibre Nation podcast a few years ago where the history of the kitchner stitch was discussed as the “stitch that won the war.” I share the link here https://www.interweave.com/fiber-nation/episode-9-world-war-socks/

I recently listed to this podcast.
One of your yarns you did not mention was Chrome. I made a pair of worsted socks out of this and there is no sign of wear!!! And they are warm. I’ve ordered a mess of this yarn for slippers as Christmas gifts for my family. It is a hard wearing comfortable yarn!!!
