Episode 348 – We’re back from break!
Stacey holds up a gray and a blue hank of High Desert Worsted next to Lee who is holding a yellow and a speckled cream hank.

The podcast is back! After a long break, we’re excited to have a regular recording schedule again. In this episode, you’ll hear about Lee and Stacey’s personal projects that they’ve worked on during our long recording break. They’ll also share with you collections, patterns, and new yarns that have been released over the period.
Next, we’re excited to share with you our summer knit along, featuring the Game Day Cardigans by Donna Estin from Generations: Knits for All Ages. The whole podcast team is substituting the suggested yarn for High Desert Worsted, and they share their color choices and swatching methods for yarn substitutions. Plus, hear about what amount of suggested ease they’re planning to use when choosing a size.

I’m so happy you are back! I enjoy listening while on walk/runs (aka knitting breaks!!) I love hearing about your favorite KnitPicks products and what’s new. Please let us know how High Desert is working for the KAL. I made the Thunderbird hat in HD and wear it frequently. I like supporting an American made product, ethically sourced. Thank you and keep up the awesome work!

Yippee!!! Welcome back and thank you so much for another amazing episode. When I found this podcast a few years ago, I went back and listened to every. single. episode. This is great stuff!!! I could listen every day as you two talk about your wips. It’s like sitting in a knitting circle. 🙂

If you could, can you talk about tips for when you put your work down and don’t pick it up for a while and then you forget what you’re doing (even though you may have notes) so you either mess it up or spend so much time trying to figure it out, it’s time to set it down again and go to bed??

Thanks again for a great podcast!!!

I used to listen to every one of Kelly Petkun’s episodes. Back then, audio podcasts were the only game in town! I learned so much from her. Thanks for carrying on.
