“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.” – Maya Angelou
When the world is getting you down, I feel that crocheting in a rainbow of colors will always make you smile. Need a project idea? The newest pattern in our Scrub-A-Dub is just the ticket – check out the free Crochet Log Cabin Dishcloth.
Based on the classic quilt pattern, designer Tian Connaughton created a perfect little pattern to use up the scraps you have filling up your stash. This simple pattern uses only single crochet, with each new color building off of the squares created before by turning the piece clockwise and working into the ends of each row. A fun and addicting project, this will turn into your go to pattern. Use a rainbow of colors as we did here with CotLin yarn or go neutral – there isn’t a wrong way to do log cabins!
Be sure to download this lovely pattern at the links below – and check back here each week to see the club pattern.
