I know I've mentioned this before, but I love Stroll Brights. I think in the last office meeting here at Knit Picks I might have been referred to as "Our Lady of Stroll Brights". I'll take it! Now that my favorite yarn is back for as long as it lasts (and I know that won't be long), I thought I might do a round-up of some great projects done in Stroll Brights. Perhaps you'll find some neon inspiration, too. |

As you may know, I'm a fingering weight yarn fanatic trying to branch out, so I chose to make a cardigan for my baby out of DK weight yarn, and am happy with the results! It's in Capra, in the color Turmeric, and isn't it the perfect shade for Fall? |

During the book sale, I reviewed the book Amigurumi at Home by Ana Paula Rimoli. I toiled over which pattern I would crochet - the teacup rug, the tooth pillow, the dog or cat footwarmers? In the end, the pattern I chose wasn't any of the projects I highlighted in that post. I made a cloud pillow, and I named him Junior. Made in all single crochet, he was the fastest and most fun project I've made in quite some time. |

You may have seen that we have some new free patterns that just hit the site. I have to say, the models have me smitten. I would say that, though, they're my babies! This is Lulu. |

I used to buy new clothing for myself intermittently. Then I had kids, and the wardrobe budget went straight to them. It's so much more satisfying to buy things that look adorable on your favorite little people, even if they wear them for about two weeks before they outgrow them. I love pairing my favorite store-bought items with the children's clothes I make. Here's a few ways you can do the same, using items from our newest kid's collection "Classic Knits for Kids". |

My son Nate is growing like a weed, and keeping up with his increasingly-large clothing is a bit of a challenge. I tend to get all wide-eyed from sticker shock when I see baby and toddler sweaters in stores, so most of my knitting lately has focused on little pullovers and cardigans. |
