Meet Daniel!

We have recently had some staff changes here at the Knit Picks office. It took a few months to find just the right person, but we are happy to introduce. . .me! I’m Daniel, and I am the new Administrative Assistant for Knit Picks. I’ll be around to do the fiddly, little things that no one else has the time (or inclination) for. In addition, I am the new Coordinator for our Independent Designer Partnership Program, so if you are one of our Independent Designers (or would like to be!) you’ll be working with me.

Free Pattern Friday – Lovely Lunch Bag

Fabulous knit and crochet projects for summer fun! I think it's safe to say that summer has arrived! Now that our sweaters have been packed away and we're enjoying the sunshine, it's time to pull out your summer knitting projects. Here are a few fabulous projects I'm hoping to cast on soon. Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day! Around here, many of us are taking part in various activities around in our area and we hope you will be doing the same. But reducing our impact on the environment happens year round  - and we have a few projects that can help! First of all - dishcloths! Using dishcloths rather than disposable products creates less waste for our landfills.  We have over 100 free patterns, in both knit and crochet for you to enjoy - including one with a nifty recycle symbol - The Three R's Dishcloth!

Spring is most definitely in the air! It's time to put away our sweaters and chunky scarves and bring out our lighter wardrobes.
