Just for you – Free Patterns Featuring Biggo!

In addition to the fabulous free patterns that Hannah posted about yesterday, we have a whopping five brand new Biggo patterns on the site this week!

Biggo

Biggo is such a fabulous yarn that tends to get overlooked. Super soft & cozy, it is perfect for next to skin wear for both kids and adults. I love how quickly it works up – when I’m working on a big project in something like fingering weight yarn, it’s so great to take a break and get the satisfaction of whipping up a quick cowl in just a few hours. And now several independent designer have designed fabulous new patterns that feature our cuddliest yarn!

First up, Brenda Castiel‘s Afraid of Cables Hat – a great introduction for those new to cables. Hats are one of my favorite projects and this one has a fabulous braided cable design and a pompom!

Another fun project is knitted legwarmers & Hannah DeBoer‘s Chunky Legwarmers couldn’t be easier. I think this is the year I finally stop complaining about cold legs in the winter and make a pair for myself (I’m thinking Calypso Heather to match my coat).

Designer Jessica Zoz has 2 patterns – both cozy cowls, but one knit and one crochet. Puff Stitch Crochet Cowl features a cute puff stitch that is worked with a big hook, which creates a squishy fabric you’ll want to wear all winter long

Her Seed Stitch Cowl and Hood is knit up either flat and seamed or in the round, depending on your preference. It can double as a hood on those winter days when a cold wind is blowing!

Finally, Simone Kereit‘s easy Triangular Cowl has a fun knit & purl texture that adds a pretty look to any winter outfit.

With all these Biggo patterns, you’re sure to be warm from head to toe this winter! Now the big questions – what to make first?
