About Face!

This week’s Freebie Friday pattern is a nice cowl that will work in any weight of yarn!

This is About Face! by Gloria Tracy Designs.  She made this version in Palette – but really, the sky’s the limit on what yarn to use – you can pretty much use whatever yarn feels nice around your neck (may I suggest Capretta? Mmmm). You’ll need approximetly 150-170 yards of what ever yarn you choose – which I’m sure we all have laying around in our stash.

You could even make this to fit snuggly around the neck or longer to hang down a little like the one above (she used Wool of the Andes Worsted for that one) – which ever style you prefer!

Gloria has been part of the IDP program for just over a year now!  She has 9 patterns in the program, including her Check It Out! Jacket. I really like the colorwork on this jacket!

It can be purchased for $4.99 right here:

And don’t forget the Freebie pattern:

One final note, we’ve had people comment that the patterns are downloading as a .cfm file on some browsers. Please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe on your computer – it’s free through this link:

Adobe Reader

That should clear up any issues – it did for me!

Have a great weekend everyone!
