Welcome to 2021, everybody! It’s a new year, and boy do we need it! I’m excited to work through my 2021 crafting list, make more cookies and cocoa for these early dark nights, and figure out what could possibly be on Netflix that I haven’t already watched.

    I discovered the KnitPicks desktop calendars back in 2019 and each month I was excited to open the new months desktop images. Once downloaded I would smile each time I opened my laptop and saw my desktop. But, to be honest, I’m wasn’t very impressed with the December or January desktop photos. Kind of dark and gloomy. KnitPicks yarns and colors are beautiful but there is nothing special, fun, or thoughtful about these compositions. Initially I thought December’s image might be a one off but now that the January image is out, I’m wondering if the fun, thoughtful and beautiful compositions of the past are no longer.
