Did you craft in public this past weekend? We held a lovely get together in Colonel Summers Park in Portland, OR. There was free yarn and books, prize baskets, lots of chatting and crafting, and unfortunately, a good amount of rain. Nevermind! We headed under the park’s picnic shelter and carried on. No, those aren’t our wet socks on the line, but samples from Toasty Toes, all in a row!
Those who preferred a natural shelter took to the many trees in the park for shelter. It made getting your chair out into the grass when it wasn’t raining, a bit easier.
Since we’re an online company, it’s always so much fun to meet our customers. I think it’s fun for our customers to meet our yarns in person, too!
We also had knitted samples on hand, as well as a few local designers from our Knit Picks exclusive collections! All in all, it was a lovely few hours of crafting together. Did you craft in public, alone or with others? Tell us what you did, in comments. We would love to hear!
