Chain Link Dishcloth

When playing around with stitch patterns for knitted dishcloths, I usually tend stick to simple ones, saving more complex patterns for things like socks, hats and sweaters. So for my newest, I used a knit and purl combination to create the neat effect of an image of a chain link fence – the Chain Link Dishcloth.

Chainlink Dishcloth patternThis quick knit was a lot of fun.  I used my usual garter border (I find that’s the easiest way to keep them from curling) and the stitch pattern is simple enough to keep track of when you’re watching tv.  While I chose the cheerful Dishie color Clementine, this pattern is great for any color so you can match your kitchen.

I use your dishcloth patterns as stitch inspiration for a variety of projects, especially cowls. It would be really helpful to see the wrong side. This one in particular is really interesting to me. But I have to see the Back to know for sure, thanks!
